Guests should follow signs for gates A and B; the hotel is next to LCW store. Guests staying at this property MUST have a valid boarding pass for an international flight to access the Airside transit area of the airport. Guests arriving on an international flight and who will be continuing on to another international flight should pass through International Transfer Security to reach the hotel. Guests arriving via the city or domestic flight must go through passport control to reach the airside transit area.

The reservation I had was to have been a rack room on the air side of customs. (A simple room to sleep for a few hours before 4am flight). Problem was I needed a boarding pass to get to room on that side of customs. Boarding processing didn't begin until 1am. Catch-22 was I had a room but I couldn't get to it. Had to pay considerably extra to sleep on side where boarding passes were. Staff person said "Don't worry, this happens a lot." I'll bet! Room was fine. Admin/check-in was not.

Great customer service but the room was not cleaned properly. There was a wet smell in the room. Unfortunately, the bed covers and duvet were ripped apart around the edges. However, the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating!

If you’re expecting anything more than a vestibule, think about an upgrade. Having accepted my fate, still had trouble coping with the rock hard bed and pillow (thought the sheets were very crisp and clean), worn bath towels, scalding (unusable) shower, and single female toilet averaging a cleaning every 12 hours. Worst of all, somehow very loud, with children’s squealing echoing from the ceilings at all hours of the night. Seemed like a lot for the price point, but that should be Yotel’s slogan by this point.

The staff was very helpful and fast, easy to check-in and ask questions. The room was decently clean but maybe needs a bit more dusting and a proper wipe down. The bed is comfortable and I had no problems sleeping although the noise outside can be somewhat heard. The airport noise and cleaning of other rooms didn’t bother too much though. The provided products are decent, shower and toilets are clean. The only downside is the air conditioning in the room wasn’t great and heated up quite a bit over time despite setting it to a lower temperature. Overall it’s a nice place to rest and feel safe if you have a long layover.

The booking process was very unclear. When booking I made it clear as to my requirements; that I would be transferring from one flight to another and would need my bag and I was advised for airside. Which was incorrect. I needed land side and then had to pay extra. This also happened to other customers whilst I was checking in. You should make it very clear as to which side of the airport people should book if transferring, this is especially true in an airport like Istanbul as it is hub airport. I would not recommend anyone to stay here

There needs to be better signage for the airside hotel! We were misdirected by multiple staff (police, airport staff, etc) people in the airport who had no idea where the airside entrance for the hotel was. This resulted in us going through customs and going to the land side entrance. There we were told we had paid for airside (we had an early morning flight and didn’t want to hassle with customs and security in the morning) so they told us to go back through customs AGAIN and security and gave us better instruction for finding the airside entrance. This took us 2 hours!!! But in the morning it was fantastic to just walk out of the hotel and not deal with any security or customs lines. It is close to the Turkish airlines Lounge. So when we stay here again, it will be much easier. Better signage and educating airport staff on your location would be incredibly helpful as most travelers are not familiar with Istanbul airport.

Convenient but room booked in advance was not made available until 8pm - 2 hr wait but on entry had to deal with dirty towels and unclean bathroom - presumably to assume those coming for short term airport stay won’t care. Had to vacate within minutes of getting access into the room and even with Hotel.com following up - no consideration for any form of credit. User beware - not reliable option to grab a calming shower and restful sleep.
