Friendly, comfortable, affordable, and convenient
My stay was very comfortable and convenient. The hotel was simple, could use some sprucing up, towels were clean but very old and thin. Room was quiet and location for me , right in Burkeville was perfect for visiting friends and family.

Check in person and staff who tried to fix the tv were very friendly and helpful BUT the rooms were filthy! The walls had multiple scuff marks on them and the door frames as well; the bathroom walls had scuffs, the tile was very dirty, the baseboards had dirt all around them and the ceiling had paint chips missing. In general the bathroom cleanliness looked like a public toilet! We were there from California for a local funeral and wanted to stay close! HOWEVER, despite prepaying for 2 nights we did not return for the 2nd night!!!!

This was a nice hotel. Easy to find and clean room. Polite person at check in and out. No place for a good meal and no delivery at all. Had to leave early morning and the parking lot was completely dark. No lights at all with uneven footing between the door and parking. Easy fall risk.

Worse "hotel" I ever stayed at in my life !!!
The online Photos are a lie. The parking lot as well as the hotel are in need of repair. The pool is closed and by the looks of the windows in that space has been for a long time. There is no game room, and the fitness room remained locked our entire stay. The restaurant closed down a long time ago, so the nearest quality place to eat is in Farmville Va as no-one delivers this far out. The breakfast was sparse and closed down earlier than indicated. There were stray dogs fighting in the pitch dark parking lot around 5 am. Thge only thing bright about this place was the broken glass in the parking lot that shimmered in the sunlight. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. BEST ADVICE STAY IN FARMVILLE !
