Newer property with nice amenities. It’s 35 minutes on foot to Union Station and the WW1 Memorial and Museum (both must sees).
Convenient parking - BUT at least three cars in the lot were “bipped” and broken into the night we were there. Fortunately, ours wasnt one of them. We were told that there would be a $5/night “franchise fee” added to our account because we had booked on Expedia. Huh? That’s a new one on me, a seasoned Expedia member…
The water pressure in our shower and sink was really low, making a decent showers almost impossible.
We didn’t receive maid service, even though we didn’t have our DND sign out, and we were never informed by the desk that they didn’t offer it. No big deal, but it would have been nice to know in advance.
Check-in agent did put us in a room with a better view and “deluxe” category at no additional charge, though there was no difference in quality.
