A charming hotel downtown Kaohsiung. The staff is definitely Mirador's greatest asset - they are all extremely polite, speak good English and come across as very helpful. We also enjoyed a nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace - with a choice of Western and Chinese options. The elevator is just hilarious - very "kawaii" with a little bench and other decorations. I loved the amenities in the room: herbal toiletries of unusually high quality and nice tea. The room was very well maintained. The only reason why I'm awarding 4 out of 5 is because the cleanliness of the bathroom. The Japanese-style deep soaking bathtub could use some cleaning…

Convenient and Good service provided by the Staff
Its was amazing for the service provided by the staff. The only area to be improve on will be the bathroom as the lighting is too dark.
Mirador Hotel like Europe Style...very nice design...even lift temporary out of service cause of taifon the hotel upgrade our room to lower floor to easy us up and down...they help us to carry luggage...room clean...only complain is the pillow too soft
Hotel is pretty convenient. Walking distance to MTR and markets. Lots of choice for food around. Choice of either western or Taiwanese style breakfast. Rooms are reasonably large and comfortable. Front desk lends out mosquito repellent since that seems to be a problem in April. Our tub was made out of some hard slippery rock material, be careful!
The decoration within the hotel are all very nice including the lift. The room is very clean and tidy. This hotel provides very nice breakfast as well.
Mosquitos and bed bugs in the room. I was bitten by the bugs on my body so are my children. Have to ask the front desk to do a check and do some cleaning. Nothing great about the breakfast.
Only good point is near a shopping belt.
comfort, clean, with free network, nice staff, only 15 mins away from main station and airport both way, easy to go site attractions around at very good price. nice breakfast and widely available choice of eat nearby.

EXCELLENT STAY AT MIRADOR HOTEL IN KAOSHIUNG
HOTEL RECEPTION IS POLITE AND FRIENDLY
BREAKFAST IS NUTRITIOUS AND STAFF OFFERRED MORE DELICIOUS COFFEE ALTHOUGH IT WAS A SET MENU.
CONVENIENT SHOPPING AREA
My family stayed in a quadruple room and it was very very spacious as compared to the double rooms we have seen on the same level. We had a sofa area, with a dressing table complete with a small wardrobe and a mini fridge.
Location is great, just beside Shinkuchan shopping district. Reception is friendly and helpful. Room is pretty small. The variety of food at level 5 restaurant is limited and not fantastic. Garden is a bit over-rated. Overall a nice experience

A Friendly Nice Hotel
The location is a bit far from metro station, around 10-12 minutes walk but some small shopping mall around. All staffs there here were pretty friendly and helpful, gave me very useful information for where to go and to see. Another, it is not really suitable for budget traveller but what they provided was valuable. Around the hotel has just a few restaurant then they closed at late afternoon, not so many choice for eater. At breakfast time, they were limited staffs to serve if over 20 customers come together, so be patient^_^
I think some of the review is over-rating. The housekeeper doesn't clean the room too well - stain on the toilet seat between the lid and the seat, there was chunk of hair still attached to the shower head. The breakfast was pretty awful and everything is cold. We was woke up one day from the loud music in the morning that the receptionist have broadcast by mistake. I think they can do better for the money. However, location is convenience enough to the station and walking distance to a few busy area.

Overall comments for the hotel
A tidy and elegant hotel, it is located on Main Street and near the MTR station. The shopping street nearby can buy young fashionable dress and there are some eating streets for tai wan beef noddle and meat soup so and so.

Enjoyable Stay in a lovely hotel
Near the buzzing street of central park shopping area. The hotel is designed in a Western style with many ceramic angel figurines. The breakfast , though not buffet style , it was filling. The service at the front desk was great , they provide information in great details on how to get to the destinations upon requested.
At first glance, I thought this hotel would not meet the standards of the photos posted online and for its price. However, once I met the staff and settled in, I instantly grew to like the place I was going to be resting in the next 2 nights/ 3 days.
I highly recommend this hotel because its so near to all the places I wanted to check out- a local night market for cheap eats, shopping area with both inexpensive shops, and retail shops. This is also a ten minute walking trip to a high end department store shopping mall and near Central Park Station MRT which is located next a to really pretty park with fountains for people to run through.
Getting to Cijin Beach was easy. I went by subway to the ferry dock. Everything you need is accessible and if you don't know where or how to get there or what to say, ask the staff!! They helped me get my hair done next door by writing what I wanted in Chinese for me. :D
