We have one of the prime units in Plantation Hale, a quaint, two-story, laid-back condo complex with a superb location right across the street from the beach. Ours is one of the only units that was completely gutted and remodeled. We also have an ocean view.

Our closest neighbors are :
* The Plantation Marketplace, a charming outdoor complex of shops and restaurants. It's
a stone's throw away.
* The Beachboy Hotel, with it's highly rated Hukilau Lanai restaurant and spa
* Islander on the Beach
* The Kilauea Fishmarket, the go-to place for delicious fresh fish sandwiches, wraps and
entrees
* The Sheraton Kauai Resort

And one of the very best things about our place is it's proximity to Ke Ala Hele Makalae, an eleven mile gorgeous path along the ocean for bikers, walkers and joggers.

Everything We Needed for a Great Week!
The place was just as described. Very clean, nice kitchen, very of the ocean in the near distance. Everything was provided; kitchen supplies, towels, bedding, local guidebooks, even a small cooler which we used every day on our adventures. Perfectly located next to a marketplace and close enough to Lihue, but far enough to feel like we were in a tropical paradise. Highly recommended.

Owners were very responsive and willing to help in many ways. Enjoying the kitchen for breakfast and fruit smoothies. Froze smoothies in Mason jars and brought on our outing for cool refreshing drinks later in the day. Lots of great beach chairs, umbrellas in closet.

Great Location on Kauai
I enjoyed my stay at this property and found it to be centrally located to everything I wanted to do on Kauai. I was very happy with everything that was supplied in the condo in particular in the kitchen, but for those that would be interested in beach equipment there was that too. I would definitely recommend the property to those going to Kauai for a trip.

Perfect honeymoon!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we had an incredible week! The condo is well stocked, very clean, and is in a great location. We loved waking up early to watch the sunrise on the beach, and Kapa'a is perfectly located to enjoy the sights of both the North and South shores of the island. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. The unit was easy to get to. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning on the lanai. The unit gets a nice breeze in the morning and afternoon. The ac works great. It is just a short walk from shops, food and Lava Lava. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Private Condo
Great Condo that was in a very quiet complex. No noise between walls like other condos we have stayed at. Felt very private and we had everything that we needed to have a wonderful stay! Appreciate all of the cookware, cooking sprays, oils and basic spices. Boogie boards and beach chairs came in handy for days at the beach! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

First time to Kauai
This was our first time to Kauai but we have used Vrbo many times. As usual the booking process was seamless and communication with property manager was great. We enjoyed the condo. It was perfect for my husband and I space wise. It had pretty much everything we needed. We would have like to have had a small cooler to pack a lunch to go. And also a new non-stick frying pan with a plastic spatula would be great. Other than that the property was quiet, clean and it’s close proximity to Coconut Marketplace was awesome. It was the perfect location for all of our vacation needs. Thank you to Micki for his hospitality and allowing our late checkout!

Convenient location to get to all sites on the island (North Shore / South Shore / Waimea Canyon). Nice, roomy, clean place convenient to shopping/restaurants. The beach here is not good for swimming, which was fine with us.

LOVED Staying Here
We are so happy that we ended up staying at this condo!!! Micki is a wonderful host and was easy to reach if we had any questions. The condo is well equipped with anything we needed in the kitchen. Everything good quality and is well shown in the pictures. Condo has been updated and was very clean. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. There is also a sofa sleeper but we did not use it. Loved sitting on the lanai. There is an air conditioner in the living room that also feeds into the bedroom. Worked really well. Location was fabulous. We were disappointed we couldn't find anything on short notice on the South Shore. so ended up here. We were so glad to be on East Shore as it was easy to get anywhere on the island. When we come back to Kauai, we will definitely be staying here again. We had such a wonderful time and did not want to leave! Thank you Micki for making our trip so enjoyable!

Had a wonderful visit in Kauai! Our stay was ver relaxing and from check-in to check out, everything was great. Our hosts were very responsive and the unit had everything we needed for our stay. The shopping center next door had a few restaurants to choose from, a small store for groceries, and there were a few resorts within walking distance offering other dining/bar options.

Perfect!
We had the best time this past week staying in this unit! First off, it is very thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. The beach chairs, towels, kitchen supplies, linens and more were all greatly appreciated. My kids (10/12) fit on the fold out couch with a ton of room to spare, but they were happy to see that there was an additional futon that one of them could have used if the other was taking up too much space. We loved being located in Kapaa and felt very centrally located to drive either north or south for some of our adventures. The beach in front of the unit isn't swimmable, and it is practically deserted which made for the perfect place to sit and read every afternoon. The kids loved the proximity to the pools and the Coconut Market ABC - which had really great (and convenient) snacks. I would 100% recommend this unit and hope to come back again soon!
