Wonderful location for exploring the Alsace Wine Route and free on site parking made that easy. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff but no shampoo and heated towel rack not on.
An absolutely beautiful hotel, right in the centre of town, with convenient and easy parking included. We loved our stay here. The terrace added extra living space to the room, and the flowers everywhere were beautiful. Kind, welcoming staff, delicious breakfast. We wished we had planned a longer stay.
Very welcoming at reception, entrance and stairs were well decorated as were halls, bedroom fittings are expensive and good colours.will return at any time as rooms were warm and staff first class.
We enjoyed our stay at Les Remparts. The hotel is very close to the old city and has free parking, so it was very convenient. From our room (I think all rooms 23 -27) there was a lovely view of the hillside and vineyards. Also, there was a largish balcony so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the view. The staff was accommodating and the breakfast good. All in all, a pleasant experience. We will return one day.
We have stayed here before about 5 years ago. This time we were in newly refurbished apartments separate from the main hotel. Another great stay on a long road trip. Walking distance to the lovely quaint town of Kaysersberg, with plenty of eating and drinking choices. Only let down by the poor croissants at breakfast, factory made and cold. Why, when the town is full of bakers. Will not stop us staying again.
It was a good location into town. Free parking was a bonus. A lovely view from our room overlooking the mountains. Very comfortable bed. Kayserberg is a beautiful town with excellent food. Our favourite town in France so far.
Fine hotel. I didn’t stay the second night. She was very rude when I asked to cancel and charged my full fare. Was very awkward. I’d avoid the unpleasantness!
This modern hotel is located at the North Gate of Kaysersberg and is very close to the Albert Schweitzer Museum and the stop for bus #145, which stops at Colmar train station (E3.7 each way). Reception was friendly and accommodating, extending my c/o to meet the bus schedule. The building is part of a contemporary development built near the Weiss River before WWII by a hillside running alongside the historic ramparts. I enjoyed the combination of natural beauty and quiet of this location and the amazing architecture of this medieval village.
The title says it all. Just a few minute walk from a very quaint Alsatian village. Plenty to see in the village and plenty of hiking trails, some amongst the vineyards, around town. Plenty of restaurants with outstanding food and a well stocked grocery store just off the town center (Intermarche). We were very pleasantly surprised by how nice the place was and would recommend to our friend....both the village and hotel.
very nice location, big and clean room. The hotel service is good but the wifi signal is very weak.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Would not go there again - rude service
This is a strange hotel. The room was clean but quite small (it was advertised as a "quadruple" room). It was placed in a separate building from the reception across two streets, which means that if you needed something from the reception you had to go quite a ways. There was usually only one person in the reception and only during certain hours. Our request for a new password for the internet required us to go over to the reception because the receptionist was busy and told us she could not give it to us over the phone. Likewise a request for an extra pillow at 10 PM was criticized by the owner who said she was already in bed - only to show up in our room unannounced with a pillow and enter our room without waiting for us to open the door, and start switching off lights that she thought were unnecessarily turned on. A weird experience indeed!
One lady at front desk was horrible to deal with, and I even spoke French to her. Rooms smelled of smoke and were not that "scrubbed clean" feel. Decor from 70's. Ideally situated though, right near the downtown and near castle ruins. The town and atmosphere made the trip, not this hotel.
