Upon arrival at the Villa, we were greeted by Sofia and her son Anastasios, the owners. They were very welcoming and showed us around our apartment. We had the ground-floor studio apartment, which I think is the cheapest and smallest room in the Villa but nonetheless, it was perfect for my friend and I.
It had a kitchen with: a double sink, oven, electric hob, fridge freezer, dining table and lots of cooking utensils.
It had a bathroom with: a shower, toilet, sink, towel heater and mirror.
The bedroom had two single beds, which could be pushed together to make a double if required, two bedside tables, lamps, wardrobes and a TV. The air-conditioning was excellent and they give you a remote control to set it at the temperature you prefer. (It did not cost any extra either, as it does in some places around Kefalonia).
There were two patio doors which led out onto a small patio area with table and chairs and a breath-taking view of the mountains.
There was also free Wifi available throughout the apartment, although it was rather slow (as it is in many places on the island). Pretty much every cafe/coffee shop/restaurant has free wifi - just ask for the password.
The room was cleaned every day, including beds made and bins emptied.
When staying at this Villa, you are entitled to use the pool in the Muikis Village which is literally opposite.
