The location of this hotel was great, being close to Flinders Lane dining and bars, walking distance to galleries, shopping and the beautiful laneways of Melbourne. The staff were excellent. The place was clean. The pool looked nice. The decor was a little dated but still nice. I didn't like the closed in feeling in the room without a proper view out of the window. I was disappointed with the gluten free options at breakfast and actually the whole breakfast was disappointing and it would have been better to go to one of the many cafes close by. The location and price made it a good option for us to stay but next time I'd forego paying for breakfast.

It felt elegant from the start; the porter took our luggage to our room which was great. The staff helped us with a slightly early check in as we had meetings to attend. All staff everywhere were very accommodating and helpful. Great Buffet Breakfast. Harry's bar - delicious food. We had the Seafood Chowder and Wonton Noodle soup and it was delicious! Really relaxing atmosphere.

A tired old Melbourne Faithfull that has been refreshed. It’s still scary walking to the lift in the higher levels. Don’t look down if you have a fear of heights!

Lovely property- but a little dated. Was really looking forward to using the spa tub in my suite- but it was very old and the tub had a glass casing around it as the shower was above the tub… so was not really conducive to a bath or a spa. :-(. That was my biggest disappointment. But other than that it was quite lovely & spacious.
