Outstanding property that far exceeded expectations for an ‘airport’ hotel. Truly the best one we have stayed in. Highly recommended and will most definitely stay there again.

Their complimentary gowns and slippers are pretty small. They need to cater for tall people and city women.

If you are going to stay in Capetown, most definitely stay here! They have the most amazing staff , totally spotless accommodation in the most beautiful building within walking distance of Company Gardens, Bo Kaap, Kloof and long streets. The Waterfront is also within walking distance of around 25 mins. The breakfast is outstanding as is the food in the on site restaurant Bombay Brasserie. The bar is well stocked and the cocktails are gorgeous. The staff cannot do enough for you and always with a smile. This was a last minute booking as another hotel that I had booked 6 months previously let us down at the very last minute and 2 days before our departure from the UK and my birthday. The hotel surprised us with sweet treats and champagne and arranged for flowers and balloons to be delivered to our gorgeous suite. I am so grateful now that the other hotel cancelled and I was able to celebrate my birthday staying at the Taj instead. We will most definitely be returning next year.
