Room was clean, ground floor which was ideal for me.Breakfast was excellent plenty of.Staff are sometimes hard to find, but overall a nice place to stay.

Kind of a Fawlty Towers vibe but not the drama. Just rather basic. And almost a one man band!
The overall experience was fine but sadly the place is tired and room and bathroom lacked cleanliness.
Restaurant food was nice and English breakfast was good. But stayed two nights and wouldn’t want same cuisine (Malaysian) twice.

Clean, if basic.
Clean and convenient location.
Room small and shower rather dribbly electric one. Guy next door snoring a lot. But warm and nice bed.
Parking a bit tight as car park large but seemed to be full of tradesmen's vans as maybe renting out the space.
Staff quite friendly and helpful.
For the price, good value. Would not pay more than I did.

Friendly and easy check in, easy to find and park with a decent sized room for the price paid. Unfortunately the carpet in room 302 seemed to have not been vacuumed and wasn’t in particularly good or clean condition also there was what appeared to be a small amount of dried faeces on the toilet seat.
As I opened door to room, smelt cigarette smell and had to go up shop to get air freshener, no lock on door.Hotel needed a good clean stair rails need cleaning and door handles.Charged for things I didn’t have.Not be back.Shame could be a nice hotel.

The person upstairs was extremely noisy and we complained at least three times well into the night. We didn’t arrive until very late, and consequently got no sleep.
I may just have been unfortunate to have experienced "the perfect storm" but.....
When I arrived I was not expected. Fortunately, I had printed my Hotels.com documentation and we were able to resolve the matter quickly.
The room itself was cold and the manager/proprietor was very defensive about this. Furthermore, he would not come to the room to switch on the heater. The heater eventually came on at 1.45 am (waking me up with its noise).
It is easy to see, therefore, that if the manager had been aware that I was arriving, he might have checked the room and switched the heater on so that the room was warm on my arrival. Had both these things happened, I might have had a much more favourable view of this hotel.
For the benefit of any readers of these comments, I would add that I prefer the room to be cool so if it is too cold for me, many travellers would find it impossibly cold.
The room was huge, plenty of space and the bed was comfy. The bathroom, whilst clean, was in poor condition, I.e. the bath had a large crack meaning we didn’t feel it safe to use during our stay. This was a shame as we don’t have a large bath at home and we would have liked to use it during our stay.
The food and service was good.
Friendly staff too who were very helpful.

Good location and parking. Close to public transport.Staff friendly and helpful.Interior a bit dated. Breakfast good but not as hot as we would have liked. Did the job for a one night day good price!
