It was our second stay and was to give ourselves a change of scene to help deal with a very stressful work issue. A few lengths of the pool and late night walks, meant we could star to relax. Check in was fast, the room was great and we enjoyed exploring more of Hythe. We were fortunate to get a good deal on the room, and the only thing which might have been better, were the bar prices, so opted for a cheaper option.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest, most welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their professionalism and genuine kindness set the tone for the entire stay, making every interaction a pleasure. The atmosphere of the hotel was incredibly peaceful, with a tranquil setting that allowed me to truly unwind and relax. It is rare to find such quiet in a hotel, and it made for the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. One of the true highlights was the hotel’s spa facilities—simply exceptional. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, the spa offered everything we needed for a relaxing experience. From soothing treatments to a calming ambiance, it was easy to spend hours there, emerging completely refreshed. This hotel is a gem in every way, and we cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for a restful retreat with outstanding service and top-notch amenities. We will definitely be returning!

Booked for a spa break. Absolutely terrible. Dirty, smelly “spa”, generally dated and worn out. Spa staff very unwelcoming. The “garden view” advertised was in fact was a weed covered courtyard with a rubbish filled skip in it! Toddler swimming classes and swimming lessons going on so incredibly noisy and weren’t able to use pool. I cannot believe they have the audacity to advertise that they offer luxury spa breaks when that is so far from what they deliver. Customer service generally very poor, young inexperienced staff. Were told we hadn’t booked breakfast on entering the dining room, when we had. If you just need a bed for the night it would be okay as the room was fine, but I would strongly advise against going to this hotel for a spa break. I contacted the hotel with my comments but they were dismissive, not interested in putting anything right and “closed my case” without offering a resolution, so I feel I ought to warn others to avoid this place…….management won’t be interested if you complain. In summary, terrible experience topped off with terrible customer service.
