This is a High living 2/2 LICENSED VACATION RENTAL PROPERTY is a luxury townhouse you would not expect to find in the Florida Keys. With it's Malibu feel, this Nautical Chic two Bedroom unit is located at The Kawama Yacht Club on MM 99! We are minutes away from John Penne Kamp State Park , known worldwide for its underwater scuba and snorkeling. We provide you with a list of great restaurants and our own recommendations. The property offers a 400 foot jetty where you will take in spectacular sunsets. The unit's balcony overlooks a salt water lagoon. ADULTS CAN WATCH THE KIDS SWIM IN THE SALT WATER LAGOON, KAYAK OR JUMP OFF THE SWIM PLATFORM FROM THE BALCONY, LIVING ROOM OR MASTER BEDROOM. WE ARE ONE OF THE ONLY UNITS IN KAWAMA WITH THIS LOCATION/ABILITY. We are in the nicest part of the development steps away from the lagoon entrance. There are 2 heated pools, tennis courts and a marina. . The unit comes loaded with all new amenities. High speed Wi-Fi and 3 large smart TVs with Net Flix included.
The living area and master bedroom have an array of large windows overlooking a beautiful lagoon which brings in natural light. The living room seating includes a large sectional to comfortably seat the entire family. Unit includes new driftwood-finish oak flooring and a modern kitchen with seating for five on the counter and formal dining for eight. The master bedroom has a king bed and bunk beds and a 55” Smart TV with Internet connection. The guest room has a queen bed and also has a 55” Smart TV with Internet connection. The living space comfortably sleeps SIX. It has two full bathrooms, washer and dryer, free WiFi, community BBQ under gazebo and outside dining area.
Kawama Yacht Club’s amenities include an on-site marina (with boat ramp), oceanfront access, 24 hour security, boat trailer parking, fresh salt water lagoon, heated pools, kids playground and tennis courts. These amenities make Kawama Yacht Club a very desirable vacation. You can go boating, snorkel, kayak, paddle-board, and fish or just catch a tan. Access to the marina ramp is free. If you need a boat slip let us know and we can special arrangements.

Beautiful, clean condo in great location

We had a wonderful week in this beautifully decorated and comfortable condo! It has everything you could possibly need. We especially enjoyed the soft sheets and bath towels, comfy beds and tons of pillows. The kitchen is fully equipped, beach towels are provided. Plenty of hot water for showers. Having laundry in the unit complete with detergent was fabulous after our various sandy adventures. Location within the property is ideal with the saltwater lagoon view and easy access to the pools. We loved sitting on the screened in porch every morning and watching the sunrise. Diane, the owner, was extremely responsive to any questions we had and she was also very kind.

The vacation spot you just hate to leave

Key Largo is one of our favorite places to be. This trip was nothing less than proof of that. The resort this unit is in is beautiful with many activities for the whole family, which isn’t always a common thing in Key Largo. The condo itself left no disappointment. It was very clean very well decorated and conveniently located. We would highly recommend this unit to anybody looking to enjoy this paradise themselves!

Nice location

This is a nice condo in a lovely little community. It is nicely decorated and is comfortable for a family of four. The only “complaints” were we couldn’t make the downstairs television work (March Madness and all…but we watched on the TVs upstairs), and the sliding glass door rattled pretty badly in the wind the last night we were there. Again, minor things. It really is a lovely condo. Comfortable. Inviting. We’d stay again if we found ourselves in the Keys again.

Great location within a terrific community

The best thing is the location of the unit to the lagoon. Lots of wildlife just outside the door. Very hospitable folks staying there and safe. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week at this property. The location of the unit was perfect, right at the start of the lagoon and close to one of the pools. Our favorite was the jetty at sunset and the beach during the day. The host was exceptionally responsive when I contacted her with any questions and we used the owners recommendations for fishing and restaurants, both of which were great! A wonderful family vacation!

Amazing Key Largo Trip

This property is amazing! Safety: I traveled with my adult daughter to Key Largo for a girls weekend. We felt completely secure and safe at this property.Friendliness: Everyone we interacted with at the property was incredibly friendly and welcoming.Property: The property itself was, in my opinion, even better than described! It was clean, welcoming, and had an amazing location at the resort. There was a digital guide offered by the owner for a perfect trip that was incredibly informative.Owner: I had little need to contact the owner as everything from check in to check out was clearly communicated leading up to the trip but I agree with others that the owner was quick to respond and friendly.Overall: I can’t wait to come back. This is an amazing location and property!

Loved our stay!!

We had a great time and enjoyed the pool, playground and walking path. It was great for stroller rides. This house had everything we needed for our vacation. It was very close to great restaurants. Great Location, ideal for families

A charming property alongside an amazing saltwater swimming pond full of beautiful reef and local fish. Feeding them is a hoot. Just a short walk to the beach, pools and play areas. Our only critique of the description is that the main bathroom is not en-suite and the 2nd bathroom is downstairs. Fine for families, but for two couples, the privacy is a bit limiting. The owner was very helpful and responsive in dealing with a noisy contractor on site.

Fishing and Family fun

Fishing and family time! Beautiful property, so much to do. We loved snorkeling and the Fantastic fishing charter down the road. We have three teenage boys and they loved the fishing. Caught shark, barracuda and more. Great vacation!

Good unit

Water pressure could be better but that could be all of the units. We had two teens with us and it would greatly benefit with the addition of some pool noodles and a fishing pool. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. A very lovely place with great decor, very clean, good ac, easy check in, and all the tv channels. Plus, minutes away from backyard cafe and shark viewing from the dock. Highly recommended!! Thanks so much!!

Very clean, very spacious

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the property and location was close to restaurants. Parking was a little tricky some days. We had to park several buildings down a few times. Other than that it was a fantastic stay.

Townhouse was nice, and plenty big for 4 adults. Really enjoyed screen porch overlooking saltwater pond. Would have been helpful to have printed copy of house rules/ instructions in the house. Restaurant recommendations were spot on (Fernandez the Bull and Fish House).

Fun time away!

We vacationed in warmer weather to visit my daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. We enjoyed the condo, the location, and the amenities. The condo we had rented ended up having an issue before we got there, and the owners placed us in a different unit and had excellent communication. My granddaughter, age 4, caught her very first fish, and we had a great time exploring around the grounds.

Delightful apartment in a great location

Lovely apartment in a beautiful complex. Quality furnishings and lovely personal touches. Great location. Would definitely stay here again. Unfortunately suffered a major water leak on our 2nd day but within an hour the lovely owner, Diana, had sorted us out another apartment just a few steps away, where we moved to and saw out the rest of our stay.

We had so much fun! The property is great, fully equipped and beautifully decorated. It has a beautiful lagoon view and the community is great for swimming and fishing. Great location! We really only have great things to say and hope to stay there again some time in the future.

BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS

I will begin by saying we stay in Key Largo often and never have we been so impressed. The unit was not only spotless but tastefully decorated. The attention to detail was impressive. The full size refrigerator is brand new and makes a ton of ice. The AC was very cold and there are fans all over to make it that much more comfortable. I love that they do not block you from making it as cold as you want the way the hotels do. We need it to be very cold to sleep. They provide anything you can imagine. from beach towels to endless paper towels, toilet paper even laundry detergent. As for the development this property was 10 steps away from the pool and directly on the salt water lagoon. Our little ones used the Kayaks provided from sunrise to sunset. The tennis/pickleball courts are brand new and they have lights. My husband and I played very late and had a nice crowd of renters in the community to play against each night. The jetty will blow you away. The sunsets were incredible and the kids loved fishing there. The pools are clean and not loud and annoying like many developments in the Keys. The owner provided us with a guidebook on all the great "locals food" and also what to do while we visit. We discovered so many things we would never have known existed. As for the communication, it was outstanding. The moment you message them, they reply within seconds. We will NEVER stay in another property when visiting the Keys.
