Considering the Mariner's Inn is an old Days Inn it was in pretty good condition and the front desk people were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is your standard fare of prepared eggs, sausage, pancakes, various pastries, and cereals, nothing really outstanding.

Place was very dirty. Needs a total upgrade. Room smelled and the air conditioner was so noisy we had to shut it off. Bathroom was so small you couldn’t turn around in it. Awful place. Would not recommend it at all

My wife and I booked this property last minute and were able to get a good room. Able to walk to the beach in minutes was a just plus. The pool maybe needs some updating but it was comfortable. Outdoor seating was pretty nice. There was a bar/club within a 3 minute walk which was nice. Definitely would book again.

We were not given the room reserved and ended up with 2 doubles beds instead of 2 queen beds and a better view. It was very disappointing. When I sent a message, I did not receive a reply. Smoke detector was removed from the wall. There were several soft spots noted on the floor that should have been fixed during the renovation of that room. They did warn me that the cold water in the tub wouldn’t shut all the way off. Would not have paid the price for the room I stayed in.

The staff is amazing, hearing the ocean as soon as you walk out your door is such a relaxing feeling. The only issue i had was is that the bathroom could has used a little more of a deep cleaning.

This property is a little bit older, but it was clean and spacious for one night. I paid for a beachfront room and got a room on the first floor with no balcony and sand dunes out the window. But the double queen suite did have a living room and kitchen area which would be nice for families.

Great quality for the price. You didn’t book it for the view, lobby, coffee. Right on the beach for $100. Room wasn’t anything crazy, clean beds and linens, shower and a toilet. Good location with a restaurant right across the road for food.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was adequate. The property is older and shows it. Bright spotlight outside our bedroom was distracting as the drapes don't block out the light entirely. No elevator, we are 80 and it was a challenge getting to and from our 2nd floor room.

A place to sleep
It was a place to sleep for the night. The pool looked clean and it was right on the ocean with beach access. Breakfast was not good. Sausage was a pasty gray color and cold. The coffee came out of a machine the eggs were like rubber maybe like other hotels they were powder?? The roomed smelled musty and the floor was dirty. In much need of updates but if you need place to sleep it is just fine. We only needed one night.

For starters, we stayed in the unrenovated section, so I have no idea what the new section looks like but the ones we were in we’re not in good condition, especially for the price we paid. The rooms are super dated, there were holes in the wall, there is too much light from outside, when trying to sleep, with no way to shut outside lights off, and it had an overall gross feeling. Every employee we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. The shower did have great water pressure. The swimming pool looked nice and the location to the beach was amazing. Maybe the renovated units are nicer, but I would not stay in the “older section” again. Overpriced for what we got.

We stayed for a week in a Deluxe Suite Sea View. The view is amazing - the motel is right on the ocean. However, you can’t hear it from inside the room and the windows don’t open. There is a balcony walkway that you can drag the kitchen chairs out to sit and watch/listen to the beach, but that was a little disappointing. The room was really dated, and the bathroom tiles were super old and the grout was moldy/dirty. None of the soap/shampoo dispensers had any soap in them. There were two double beds but they were small and not very comfortable. The breakfast is very average. It was the same each day with cheese omelette and sausage, biscuits and gravy, mini muffins, some cereal. Coffee and juice. There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor so we walked up and down a lot of stairs. The price was good for being right on the beach, but this motel could really use some updating. You get what you pay for. Parking is easy. The pool is old and a little shabby looking. The desk person was incredibly nice and helpful.
