No microwave in room and refrigerator in our room would freeze all items. Very clean and super comfortable bed, pillows a little stiff. Loved the pool area and dogs allowed at pool areabut not in the pool. All in all it was a great stay, highly recommend.

It was a nice stay. Just needs to update and there is micro in the room and no breakfast. For the price it could be a little better.

The single rooms are small with no desk, only one chair and no refrigerator. They put me on the upper balcony at the very back, so I had a real hike with my luggage. There were empty rooms much nearer to the parking lot.

This lodge has character, plenty of open space, and opportunities to reminisce about the way the travel industry was a few decades ago. As someone who grew up traveling in the 60s and 70s, the SmokeHouse Lodge hits the spot every time. I have stayed her a dozen times and always felt safe and comfortable.

Furniture was old and very uncomfortable. Smell of the cabin was awful partly because of the fireplace inside and partly because of old outdated furniture. Overall cabin was so so clean could have been a little cleaner.

The cabin was a cozy and peaceful get away. It had everything you would need to cook your meals then unwind during your stay. I felt safe with having others close by not on the other side of a wall. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for the Cabin in the woods experience

Nice cabin & great whirlpool tub in room.
We really liked the whirlpool tub in the cabin. Very quiet and very comfortable. I slept 11 hours and usually do not get more than 6. We plan to return as we had a great time. Sewanee, TN is just down the road - beautiful and interesting and the Fiery Gizzard Trailhead is only 6 miles away - one of the most beautiful short hikes I have ever taken. Highly recommended.

They dont want any local people!
As soon as I checked in they said they don't like locals to stay at their motel; They took a hold of over a $100 when I had prepaid for a room already on my card; when I checked out they did not take the hold on my credit card and we're very argumentative with me After they had insulted me by saying that they did not like locals to stay at their motel.
