This was such a bad experience. They had a new year countdown and they were practicing for it on 30th December and 29th December even. The 30th one had the windows vibrating and the lights reached the room. I was terribly sick and I could not catch any rest. When asked; they said it was a last minute event and that they are not responsible for a state event. I then asked for a room change, but they said I may need to top up, as the rooms above are suite? Then they proceeded to relocate me when I asked them for some effort, and they placed me nearer to the stage. This is absurd. This is clearly an indication for lack of integrity. There was no indication of such an event. I booked my tickets the week before coming here, thus I am sure the event will have been announced by then. This is unacceptable and very annoying. Also mini trigger factors will be the different toothpastes in both rooms, the new room has Colgate. The water heater was working better in this floor. There are different standards for different floors? I don’t even get this. Don’t book this place. It’s really a scam. Then the roads were closed for the event and even that was not indicated. Only one doorman came to my rescue but could not help much. Thus, I ended up draaging my luggage and walking to the mall that was 15 minutes away, in the hot sun. See; this may not be a very difficult task but my point here is the need to INFORM these details so that a customer can be well prepared. HUGE LACK OF INTEGRITY.

Poor check-in, took around an hour , receptionist not sure what she was doing, failed to collect the tourist tax which was then collected at check out.Booked 4 rooms , one toilet did not flush at all, another had a view entirely of walll. Requested packed breakfast as we were leaving early to the airport, but it was late and the chef spilled one

Another staycation at Promenade
Check-in was good and fast with such a friendly and professional staff. Room is just as requested. Only drawback is lack of switches for lighting which was replaced with digital push screen which doesn't seem to work resulting in a poorly lit room and caused inconveniences due to that. Prefer to have manual swtches for practicality.

The original check in time was 3 pm but i waited until 6 pm, they said the room is not ready. I felt bad a little bit at first, but room was clean and the sea view was awesome. There was a small problem that we could not flush toilet but it was fixed by the person in the hotel.

Location - good and safe. Hotel door was a bit too tight so had to use a bit of weight on the door whenever we open it. There are 2 convenience stores opposite the hotel, around 3 min walk. Bedroom slippers, hair dryer and necessities like lotion and soap etc were provided. 2 bottles of mineral waters were being provided as well daily. Hotel room was clean, just a bit dark, could be brighter. Hotel breakfast was not the best, but ok, lots of variety. Parking was cheap, RM4 for 24 hours for basement carpark parking. Would stay here again if I am here!

It’s clean, the staff are friendly and nice, their facilities are quite advance, they have the touch screen switch to turn on the lights. However, some of them are not functioning, I can’t turn it on. The lights in the room are quite dim. There is only one socket at the table, it is used for the table lamp. I used it to charge my laptop then I can’t turn on the table lamp, the room will be ever dimmer.
