Great thing is that it is next to JR & bus station. Easy to move around. Good breakfast. As usual friendly staff. Checkout is one hour too early at 10 am. Cramped room. No space at all..

Hotel is very convenient to Kyoto station. Very clean and staff were friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. There are lots of shopping areas and food options nearby, as well as Kyoto station and main bus terminal that makes it very easy to access other parts of the city.

This is what all Japanese hotels should be like! Steps away from Kyoto station, restaurants and bars. Not just clean but elegant and classy. Lots of nice and well-thought-out details. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely try and stay at the APA chain as often as possible!
