I loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and I loved our room. The washroom was very modern and I liked how the toilet was separate from the shower area. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. A quick walk to Kyoto station and lots of dining options. I highly recommend this hotel.

Super clean and safe.crazy close to subway station.the station is connected mall.mall has a pretty good brands and local brands.they have Issey miyaki and ccg...Yoji yamato etc.easy tax returns.and plenty of restaurants.I just love the double tree Kyoto.

I liked the lounge area on the first floor, staff were very kind, and the room was large with all the amenities we needed. Fluffy towels, comfy bed, although the pillows could have been better - they were either too hard or flat as a pancake - medium weight please. The hotel did run out of umbrellas one day, which I think could be solved with an umbrella return rack in the entrance. Then guests don’t hoard umbrellas in their bedrooms, especially during rainy season. Also, our room didn’t have a sign to hang on the door to decline or request room service. So we did get woken up one morning, and had we been staying longer I would have requested a sign. Overall, I would definitely stay again because of how quiet and nicely laid out the room was, the convenient location near Kyoto station, the laundry room that was handy, and the comfy bed.

The hotel is a block from the train station so it had easy walking access. We used it as a home base for four days and took the train to different areas for sightseeing. Great buffet breakfast and a helpful staff. The hotel is very clean.

Great hotel! Weird smell in the washroom after they clean… perhaps the cleaning products? Other than that we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious and so was dinner and lunch which we enjoyed at the hotel. Staff were very attentive.
