Small boutique hotel in a great location for exploring central and eastern Kyoto on foot. Hundreds of restaurants are within walking distance, and we highly recommend adding the breakfast buffet when you book your room.

The hotel was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.y only complaint was that my room was located on the same floor as the smoking room and the smell occasionally made its way down the hall. It wasn't something worth complaining about or moving rooms, but I would suggest that sensitive guests specifically request a different floor to avoid issues.

Beautiful room. Amazing amenities. Provides tokens for free drinks for alcohol dispensers per night you stay. There’s a vinyl listening bar which was a very cool touch. The onsen facilities were top tier. Ladies get a code to enter via passlock. There’s lockers with keys that you can wear on a wristband they provide. Also provides luggage locks and lockers to store your thinks pre check in and after check out if you want to explore on those days!

Great property in excellent location however room was just impossibly small. No room to have 2 suitcases open unless you step over them every time you walk around the bed. Plus bed was way too hard.

Wonderful hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. We had easy access and walking distance to the subway and bus stop. Located off the main street and walking distance to Nishiki market and other shopping stores.

Excellent location!! Turning the corner onto the property, all of the noise of the city vanished. Beautiful hotel with great service. Will recommend to ANYONE traveling to Kyoto this is a perfect accommodation.

Sure, here's a corrected version of the review: First of all, it was a small hotel with very limited space, which was unexpected. However, the staff were very friendly and kind. The nighttime ochajuche was great, and the Japanese-style breakfast was also delicious. If you're looking for a good location and decent food, this is the right place. Just keep in mind that the rooms are very small.
