Loved this hotel. Stayed here with my wife and 5 year old for 5 nights. Short walk from Tokyo station. Plenty of conbinis around. Also a few Malls a shirt walking distance from hotel. Buffet breakfast was also very nice.

We love this hotel. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and the evening happy hours! We love the green tea parfait, the variety of drinks, and the amenities! Everything they provided were of good quality. The rooms are very clean. The beds and beddings are comfortable. Service would have received a five star, if it weren't for one little incident in departure. My sister asked a bottle of water a minute after she checked out. The staff declined her! I came after her, so I asked for her before I checked out. The staff asked how many bottle do I need! he appears to be happy to give me a few! I hope he can be more flexible and provided one to a guest who just checked out after five nights stay. My sister was upset about being declined a bottle of water.

This hotel really cares about creating a great experience for guests. The service is top notch, from reception to cleaning to the daily complementary tea service and happy hour they offer, not to mention the craft activity! I was blown away. Our room was beautiful as well - and the most spacious out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip. The only issue was the room didn't seem very sound proof -- we could frequently hear noise from upstairs, like they were moving furniture or luggage around. And when people closed (slammed) their doors shut in the hall it was very noticeable. Location-wise, it's very conveniently close to Kyoto station, which was great for us as we did a couple of day trips to nearby towns (and the station also has nice shopping and food options). Would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Kyoto.

My stay at the Richmond Hotel Premier Kyoto Ekimae was great. It is located just a few minutes from Kyoto Station and was easy to walk to. It's very clean and modern feeling. We did not take advantage of breakfast or afternoon drinks services but it was good that these were available. Check in and out was automated and various amenities were provided as self-service items, as seems to be the case in many hotels now. There were tourist guides available and I liked the small details like the social media frame with cute props you can take a picture with.

We absolutely loved staying at the Richmond Hotel in Kyoto. The staff was so helpful and their English was very good. I loved their amenities bar and the travel journal and crafting stations. We had also sent our luggage from our previous hotel in Tokyo and they had already placed them in our rooms which was so nice. Thank you so much for such a pleasant stay! If you are ever in Kyoto, you need to stay here!

This is my partner and my favourite hotel in our Japan trip - we stayed at 3 different hotels. We loved the scenery at the entrance of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. They always greet up when we enter and leave - adds a personal touch! They offered free ammenities and guests to access if they need to top up! They provide free afternoon tea and sake/wine tasting at night for guests to experience, as travellers we really appreciate this element as we get to explore the different flavours from different regions! We loved how easy it was to send our luggages from this hotel to our next hotel - no cut off time which meant we can do it any time of the day. Looking forward to return!
