Each time I have stayed at America's Best, the staff has been very cordial and accommodated my special request. I have stayed there several times as I have family in Lake City and the hotel is always clean and neat. They are a great budget friendly hotel. I would recommend them to anyone on a budget that wants a nice hotel.

Great place to stay!

I always stay here. It is comfortable, quiet, they take pride in their hotel. The beds are comfortable I like the layouts of the bathrooms. The only complaint this time, the showerhead needs to be replaced. More water fell out the bottom of it then came out the holes.

String smoke smell in first room (supposed to be non smoking). Reassigned by friendly night clerk. Next room smelled ok, but had body hair in the sheets, so we used our own blankets to sleep on/in between the used sheets instead of waiting for someone to change the old ones out. Continental breakfast was good, ready, convenient. Thanks, 3rd shift, for doing your job!

According to your site,this was an exceptional hotel, it was NOT! Rooms were small, dingy and smelled like urine. check in person was very nice once she quit vacuuming. Recommended we have dinner at Salsas’s. We did and it was VERY GOOD! I used all my key points to bring down the price! What a MISTAKE! Would NEVER recommend to anyone.

When we got to the room I always check beds whether I’m at a JW Marriot or a place to pit stop for a night and when I pulled the sheets back I was disgusted at the sight, brown flakes (hoping to God it was larvae of bugs) we immediately left! Disgusting

The property has no elevator. We were placed in a second-floor room. John of maintenance was very helpful and willing to assist with the luggage. The outside of the property is quite dated, and unkept, as is the interior of the rooms. The outside needs painting of all walls and of doors. The rooms need significant updating. The carpet in the room was soiled and stained, as was one of the pillows where, apparently, ? blood stains were still visible. The staff appears very dedicated and helpful!!!!!!!!
