People behind the desk were very accomodating. Breakfast had a good asst. of food. Air conditioner/heating unit ran on and off loudly all night, probably because no door threshold to stop heat escaping.

Well, prices were greatly inflated for parents weekend. There were people living at this hotel-not just over night guests for a few nights. Our first room stank of old cigarette smoke. We asked for a new room and thankfully got moved. The bed was terrible! Our feet were higher than our heads and the middle of the mattress sagged so bad my wife and I kept rolling into each other all night. The room was ok clean, the floor was dirty and there was a kinky curly hair on the washcloth that was in the bathroom counter-barf!! Would I stay here again-absolutely not!!

This was the only room available in town that I booked at the last minute for family weekend at MSU. I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely appointed it was! The rooms are clean and have all working amenities (microwave, fridge, etc), the beds are soft with nice comforters and the shower has great water pressure. The staff was super friendly. I'd stay again!

Nasty place
The first room we stayed in was 113. It was disgusting. It reeked of smoke. Right outside the door was a giant ashtray and the designated smoking area. We asked for a new room but she said they had none. The next morning (after having to sleep with the blankets over our heads because it stunk) we were told by the employee named Star that she would reach out to manager to get us some kind of credit. When I saw her later that day she said he was working on it and would be in touch with us no later than Sunday morning. We never heard from him. The new room we had which was a suite was way better but the shower did not drain and we had to scoop the water out otherwise it would flood the room, They see getting away with surge pricing but the place is disgusting. Pay more elsewhere!

My need was fulfilled
The room did the job. I needed a place to stay vs. traveling home to SE Michigan and returning back to mid-Michigan the next day. It met my basic needs. I would definitely utilize this property again if I needed a quick place to stay, but the fitness center... left me wanting.
