The rooms are spacious but very old and worn. The hotel is quite a distance away from the MGM casino property, so you have to walk a 1/3 of a mile in either direction. And while I like walking, it was inconvenient to trek back and forth several times a day. Plus as a woman traveling alone, at times, it was scary to walk the walkways with drunk people cat-calling and approaching me. I asked the front desk to move closer to the casino property/convention center, but they told me, “you should be ok, it’s pretty safe”. “Should be” and “pretty safe” are not words I wanted to hear when expressing concerns for my safety.
