Beautiful property for large family

This property was located outside of Leadville. Property was full of trees that made you feel like the only house out there. The veiw from the upstairs balcony were beautiful! We had 8 adults and 4 children staying here for the week. It fit us all comfortably. Nice large dinning room and kitchen that was equipped with everything we needed to cook dinner every night. Keypad lock entry was very convenient. I highly recommend this property for large families.

Great Gathering Spot!

Rocky Bear was lovely. It was clean, well appointed, and in a great location. Plenty of space for gathering and spreading out. Rooms were comfortable and the home worked out great for our group of family and friends.

Outstanding Secret in the high mountains

This place is outstanding! Two thumbs way up - in fact if I could give it a 10 star I would. I brought my family out for a week before the Leadville Mountain bike race - which I raced in to earn the buckle. Central just a few minutes to town , very private spot and immaculate inside and out. We did all of our cooking / meals - everything there just like home. Super communication from the host Chris via text - awesome spot and we would book again in a heartbeat! The Loberg family

Truly Incredible Property

Our family traditionally stays in 4-5 Diamond hotels. Triple A Diamond rated properties must meet standards on Decor, Quality, Ammenities, and Hospitality. This home ranks highly on each count. In addition, it offers spaciousness, an excellent layout, beautifully appointed interiors, thoughtful (practical as well as luxurious) touches, stunning wooded homesite and a wonderful host.

Perfect is too bland a word

This property is beyond compare! Not only are the grounds and home picturesque, but the home was stocked with little extra amenities that weren't listed that really enriched the experience. My family and I were looking for a retreat after my father passed away last year, and this home brought joy to my grieving mother in a way that I thought was lost. The memories we made as a family playing board games and in the snow are some that I will cherish forever. The property is perfectly located to all kinds of snow activities and very close to stores for grocery shopping and such. The views are fantastic and absolutely everything about this listing is incredible! 20/10 would 200% stay again!!!! With love from Louisiana!

Beautiful house among the pines!

This beautiful house is situated in a lovely pine forest. The house was sparkling clean and very spacious, plenty of room for the 11 of us. We enjoyed the swing on the porch and ate most of our meals outside by the picnic tables. The house location gives easy access to both the town and the lake. Also, we really appreciated the fast response from our host regarding a few questions we had.
