The great room provides the ideal setting for an afternoon movie or a spirited board game. The main bedroom boasts a cozy queen-sized bed for a restful night's sleep, and the second bedroom sports a twin over queen bunk option.

A perfect getaway for your legendary explorations, let Bigfoot Base Camp be your home for all things fun! This cabin is just 15 minutes to Lake Wenatchee State Park and Fish Lake, 35 minutes to Stevens Pass, 30 minutes to the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, 15 minutes to Leavenworth Zip Lines, and 25 minutes to Leavenworth Reindeer Farm.

While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is a very steep/slope grade and when ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended. No exceptions. Limit 2 vehicles in the winter.

The best VRBO ever!!
The place was so clean and had everything we needed. No bugs! Comfy couch! Comfy bed! Comfy fire pit, hot tub.. The hammock under the stars was the best night of my life. I had silent conversations with the surrounding trees and the galaxy! (no, I don't do drugs or alcohol.. ha ha!)

Super awesome cabin and location!

Great place to relax and disconnect!
The cabin was very clean and had all necessary amenities. Neighborhood was quiet, the house is private with neighbors nearby but surrounded by trees providing illusion of seclusion. Also close to a couple of local restaurants and not far from Leavenworth. We had a great weekend where we could escape from flipping TV channels or being tied to work, and relaxing while enjoying the patio jacuzzi, hammock and fire pit (we had great crisp/clear fall weather). Plenty of indoor and outdoor games + DVDs for entertainment should you need it.

Property is beautiful and clean. Very private. There are aot of nice little touches that leaves the property with a nice "themed" feeling. My only complaint is that the beds are very uncomfortable. You won't want to be in them long though with how beautiful and well located this property is.

PERFECT Getaway!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Bigfoot Base Camp for 3 nights and couldn’t have enjoyed it any more! The check-in process was so so simple, and the management company was so sweet and helpful! The photos showed a picture of a gas firepit and when we got there we couldn’t find it, so I called the management company and they sent someone up to grab it out of the garage, hooked it up, and even left us an extra propane tank! It was so secluded, but still around other houses down the road. It’s tucked back in trees so it’s extremely private. The movies, outdoor games and the fireplace added such a nice little touch! Everything was so clean and comfortable and we will DEFINITELY be back! We couldn’t rave about this place more!

Perfect Getaway to Disconnect
We had a fabulous long weekend at the cabin. The well stocked kitchen and creature comforts made this a great place to stay. The proximity to Leavenworth and some fun fishing spots were perfect for the days we ventured out. Fire pit and hot tub made for enjoyable evenings. Our 7yo and our puppy loved it all!!!!

Wonderful winter getaway
Tucked away in a quiet part of Washington, the cabin in Plain is an excellent getaway for family and dog. The cabin is snug, warm, and a great cocoon while also be minutes away from outdoor activities and Lake Wenatchee State Park. Enjoy the hot tub right outside the house; surrounded by snow and with a perfect view of the moon. Plenty of small stores to get essentials. 30 minute drive to Leavenworth. Note that the drive is VERY curvy for those who might struggle with car sickness! Comfortable for families of all ages and their dogs.

My husband and I rented this place to get away from Home for thanksgiving. knowing we wouldn't be able to enjoy the day with friends and family, we thought some time in the snowy woods would be a nice change of pace! The house was delightful - decorated for Christmas, clean, and with a well stocked kitchen. The property was private and easy to find: recommend 4 wheel drive for getting up the driveway in winter.
