The people in the reception was really Nice and very helpfull. Absolutly loved our room. We had some problem with the steam baths as they didnt work, only the normal sauna was on.

Well positioned hotel
This was a nice, well positioned hotel, close to the main Garmisch Partenkirchen station, and the cogwheel station for the Zugspitz. Our room was a good size, including a comfortable seating area, but was very hot, and was occasionally let down by room service (not emptying bin and replenishing the bathroom, etc.). Breakfast was fine, including hot options to order, if required. Pool, sauna and jacuzzi were also nice to have, although the pool was extremely cold to get into

We loved our stay here. Beautiful room and view. The breakfast is fabulous. The pool and spa area is clean and welcoming. The parking garage is underground, locked, and felt safe. Very easy to walk to all things nearby. The only thing to know is that this is an old building with multiple floors and connecting hallways. NOT easily accessible by elevator to the rooms if you have a wheelchair or stroller (took us 2 elevators and we still had to go down a few stairs to get to our room)- totally doable but something to plan for if you have needs so that you can ask for a room closer to the entrance!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and booked 2 different styles of rooms for our stay. They were both very spacious and accommodated all of our needs for ski gear, comfy sleeping arrangements, were well appointed, and decorated nicely. The staff including the owners Michael and Marianne were very hospitable and would hang out when things were slow. The Breakfast buffet had a variety of traditional German eats and was more than adequate. The cozy bar area was our favorite hangout after returning from skiing the Garmisch Classic slopes all day. You are a 2.3km drive from the Hausberg parking lot so the location is very convenient for winter skiing. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place with history and style.

We booked Reindl's Partenkichner Hof as we have visited the Garmisch Partenkirchen area manny times before when we were stationed in Germany during our military careers. This was our first stay at Reindl's and it will not be our last. We were very pleased with the accommodations, the location and most of all the Customer Service. The owners are very attentive to the needs of the lodgers, and it shows as the staff is just as helpful. The breakfast is traditional German and my wife and I enjoyed that a lot. Good food! We are planning a trip back within a year or two and we plan on staying here, it feels like home. One thing thought, parking is available in the covered garage, but if you have a van it takes some geometry to park it. Regular size vehicles, not problem. Looking forward to another visit.
