We came to Gothenburg for an athletic event and we really enjoyed our stay at the Clarion Collection Mektagonen. One of our points for staying there was the kitchenette and that had breakfast and dinner included. That was a must. Breakfast was excellent!! I would have more options for dinner or foods with less seasoning but other than that an amazing hotel

Exceeded expectations!
Definitely raised the bar for quality standards all around. The included breakfast was great, but they also threw in a free dinner and late afternoon snack! Onsite gym & laundry was very convenient as was proximity to the tram stop and grocery store to stock the fabulous kitchenette. Above all else was the professional, knowledgeable, and helpful staff!

An awful experience. I was there for two nights . The 2nd night , there was incredible noise coming from upstairs. I had to go down to concierge twice to complain at midnight no less. Unacceptable. This is my 3rd time staying there . No more. I will Also lodge complaint with my credit card company

The hotel is connected to a super market which is really convenient. Transportation to central Gothenburg is a 5 min walk. Breakfast and dinner is free. Amazing gym and helpful staff.

Wonderful Hotel!
Excellent hotel! A buffet-style breakfast and dinner were both included in the room price. Also, Fika is observed in the afternoon, with free coffee and pastries. Staff is very friendly and speak excellent English. A tram that can get you downtown is just a block away. Parking is for a fee, but it's right on site. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

Great base for exploring Gothenburg.
Great base in a good situation for exploring gothenburg. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the fair at liseberg. A little further for the city centre also linked by the excellent tram system. Rooms are roomy, clean and comfortable. Security if good too. The breakfast caters for everybody's needs and there's plenty of it.
