The Park was quiet, bed was comfortable and set out well.
The bathroom had a terrible smell from the water and we had to leave the fan in the bathroom on all night to stop the smell from going right thru the room.
The buildings are getting a bit on in age . They are advertising for cleaners no one seems to be applying for the job . The cleaners they have are only giving the rooms a cat lick daily . Spider cobwebs everywhere.no 5 star rating for this stay .

Stayed here with my sister. The room was comfortable and on the larger side for a motel. The television was a bit small to see properly from the beds and there was only one chair in the room. It was an easy walk into the town proper and the onsite hotel and bistro were interesting. We had a very nice meal in the bistro. All in all nothing to complain about other than the dust but this is to be expected in a dry outback town.
I enjoyed my stay. Room was comfortable and tidy. Had everything we needed. The staff are very nice. Having a bar and grill there made it easy and convenient. Food was lovely.
The room we stayed in was a little outdated but I think that added appeal to the cabins and to lightning ridge.
The Bistro had a delicious lamb shank slow cooked in wine & rosemary
Enjoyable dining opens @ 6 pm
Lunch available @ their pub delicious grilled sandwiches great with a beer
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay,

Accommodation was very tight in Lightning Ridge and only three places to eat dinner.
Large comfortable cabin with curtains that actually cover the door and windows! Good night’s sleep and very good bistro
