This our first time staying here. It’a five star Forbes rated hotel. I found many things that didn’t measure up to five star. In the room, the coffee maker didn’t work, nor did the bathroom scale, and the shower was very hard to turn off without it, dripping. I also thought it was very confusing trying to watch something on television via streaming. They have some caste system that I’ve never seen before and couldn’t figure it out. why not just offer your guest Netflix for free if you’re a five star. They had Reese’s peanut butter cups as their form of chocolate to purchase in the room. I just thought that was pretty cheesy … they couldn’t offer him more high-quality chocolate for five star?. The service at the library bar with very slow and on not attentive. There was Not enough seating near the piano player and a lot of outside people at the hotel …leaving hotel guests less access for seating. We waited so long for a drink that we left. The fitness center was well the equipped, and the spa service was very good. Hotel staff were pleasant and responsive. Lastly, they mischarged my spa service and didn’t call to tell me about it which caused me unnecessary time inquiring about the error. We only stayed one night so maybe no experience was unusual.
