The Wallis Guest House was nice and conveniently located, we enjoyed our stay in Lisbon largely due to the location of this property which provided easy access to the many things we walked to visited during our three day stay in the city.
The staywas lovly, so close to so many landmarks, nice sized room, comunal showers were as expected but not very busy so thats good, only fault was only 1 toilet per floor and we had to put 2 single beds together instead of a double. Apart from that very enjoyable stay
The worse terrible I ever stayed , the worse beds , I suffer from osteoporosis and I could not use three beds even asked if I could have a different mattress I was told no, she died if I could cancel room and get a refund so I could get another hotel I was told no ,so had to stay in the horrible horrible place and on top off that I had to suffer due to my illness , I had an horrible christmas staff at reception were rude, I do not tecimend that place
Loved the staff. Room was clean and neat. Great location, next to metro station.

I did not realize that it's guesthouse/hostel, with shared bathrooms, but turns out to be nice one. A bit noisy with balcony door opened, for some fresh air, but at night reasonably quiet.
I would recommend to replace tea kettle and microwave in the kitchen, as they look very, very well used, to keep guests happy.. :) Especially tea drinkers.. :)
Scammes!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Didn't reply my message before check in date and didn't show up when chekcin in. In booking information stated check in was until midnight, we were there by 9.30 pm and no one was there, ironically the signage on the desk showed: check in until 10 pm!!! We were locked outside, called numbers shown and no one bothered to answer, couldn't get in in the end had to sort ouselves out late at night find another accommodation. Never ever had this experience traveling around the world !!!

Affordable
Convenient to travel to/from city centre. Room was nice and comfortable, although lights were out in the corridor. Rooftop balcony has a nice view of Lisbon
Overall very nice except Internet on 6th floor & old door locks 🔐.Internet is worst & the old door locks are difficult to open or lock.Locality is the best.Few steps away from guest house.Nice Terrace from where one could see the Tejo river.
if you can completely avoid this "hotel", this is not such, it is only a guest house, it has no air conditioning, no tv, and the bathroom is shared, they are announcing themselves as a hotel, not true at all, it is a ripoff and they WILL NOT return your money.
you will have a terrible experience at this place.
We weren't the only guests afraid to walk down the corridor to go to the shared toilets and showers at night - they are poorly lit and there are many rooms that share these facilities. Our room had no air conditioning and it was very hot. The window had to stay open to have any air and the road is VERY noisy.
Nice little place, near a tube station AMD only half an hour walk away from the castle.
Room was nice and big.
Only let downs , no receptionist always available and only one male toilet per floor, with only a shower curtain across the cubicle for privacy
Super hard to find with just A4 size hotel banner. Though the reception says 24/7... hardly anyone there... spent 45 mins on rd in front of hotel trying to get in.... same situation to everyone who I met. The rooms were unclean and sheets were nasty.
At the end of the day, if you are pressed on budget and want a close place in city and don't care for parking which they absolutely do not have ...for the price you are OK
We had a'suite' which meant we had a private bathroom, buy the shared kitchen area was a good size on our floor and shared bathroom space was clean. They also have a fabulous 7th floor roof terrace with great views. Avoid rooms 11, 21, 3. 41 and 51 as they are next to the floor security doors which are old, metal and clunky. Some great pastry shops all around for cheap, delicious breakfasts and some unassuming cheap but good, local fish places too. About an hour's gentle stroll from river front barrias
The guy behind the desk (didn't get his name :( ) was so nice and fun to talk with, the room was very nice with a nice balcony, only problem was no private bathroom, other than that I'm coming back again!
