Check in took forever and no appreciation of guest was demonstrated. Pool (part of our decision to book here) was totally out of commission - full of filthy water and closed. Fitness room (another major part of our decision to book here) had broken 80s machines and no space to do alternative workouts not utilizing the out of order machines. Breakfast is a joke and there was mold in my scrambled eggs. Upon informing the front desk of this, they shrugged it off and took no action. Battery in our in room smoke alarm failed and alarm started beeping just as we put our children to sleep. Room had not been thoroughly vacuumed and no one turned on A/C before we arrived so it was 90 degrees.

The pool was green and had been closed for quite a while. We were supposed to get a room with a Jacuzzi and when we went to find our room, it was surrounded by workers who were drinking outside our door. When we requested a new room, we were told there was only one room on the entire property that had a Jacuzzi. So we elected to just get a new room. That room smelled like mold and mildew, but we were too tired to care. Avoid this place we’ve always loved Best Western, but this has to be the worst western.

I couldn't get bottled water probably because there was only one snack room on the whole property, and that was in the laundry room. The dirty pool was a big turn off. Also I didn't feel the door to my room was secure enough.

I didn’t like that the check in was difficult and that when reserved on Expedia it was supposed to be 71$ but when I said to use my 28$ credit, suddenly the room was 99$. It was starting to rain or I would have driven 3 more miles and used my Hilton app!

Room was clean and comfortable. Property appears to be well maintained and looked after. The gentleman (Matthew) who checked us in was excellent, a real professional. He was polite, courteous and offered suggestions for us to consider on where to eat. When we arrived at our room we discovered that it hadn’t been made up yet. Matthew Immediately moved us to a much bigger and nicer room while apologizing profusely for our inconvenience. We had been travelling for ten plus hours and while tired, the ten minute inconvenience was worth it to experience the great care and competence provided by Matthew. Would definitely stay here again.
