We checked in at 11pm, the man who helped us was great. We called the front desk at about 1am and asked if we could have a late checkout. He agreed and said 2pm, we confirmed 3x since it was so generous. We woke up and ran to a water park around the corner, my husband stayed to work and rest. My husband calls me at 12:15pm saying that Ray banged on the door and demanded that he checks out within 20 minutes. He tried to explain to them that the man the night prior said that we could check out at 2pm. I called since the reservations in my name. I was spoken to in a disrespectful manner by Ray. I asked to speak to the GM, Ray said to call in 10 mins. I attempted to reach the hotel back. My husband was busy getting the things out of the room and moving his meeting to another location. The hotel sent me to voicemail multiple times. I received a phone call from Expedia stating that I was refusing to check out. We never refused to check out. I explain my husband already checked out. Since they called I mentioned the painting in the room was not finished, a vent cover was on the floor, there was a hair tie left on the bathroom counter and soap residue. I asked what they could do. I was told that the hotel disagreed with what I said, I mentioned that I have a video from room number, showing all the items. I always do since I'm traveling with children. The Expedia rep says that they would not review my footage and that they will be only considering what the hotel is reporting. 0 stars
