Overall a solid property. The main complaints is the noise levels. Very thin walls, you can hear everything, seems like the property knows this as they provide earplugs. The other main complaint was the resort fee. It's only in the fine print on their Expedia page so it came as a surprise for us, our fault for not seeing it. All and all the value for this property wasn't really there vs other properties we have stayed at in Long Beach. The good things about the hotel was everything was clean and in good condition. Very good location for walking to the beach, boardwalk, and the main downtown corridor. But again there are other properties that have a much better value with the same good features as this one.

The location of this property is convenient to the beach. Also it about a 10 minute walk to shopping. There is a restaurant, coffee shop and distillery on-site. All staff we encountered were kind and helpful. The room we had was clean, and stocked. Our room was considered a partial beach view, queen with the padded bench under the window. The padded bench was a great touch to sit and watch the surf. The bed was the perfect balance between firm and soft. The shower was a tub with the shower head placed high with nice pressure. Our room was decorated in an eclectic fashion, clean with a mini frig. There were bath robes for use. We did visit the distillery, distillery and coffee shop, with no complaints. Some items that were on my wish listed that I missed....... coffee pot and microwave in the room. I'm thinking the attached coffee shop and restaurant was the reason these items were not in the room. There was a microwave by the ice machine on each floor you have to share with everyone in the hotel. I'm a stickler for a coffee pot and microwave in the room. The other odd thing was ear plugs on the night stands. Never experienced that before. We were on the third floor. The noise in the hallway was not really any different than any other hotel. We did discover the floors are a little thin. But, it is an older building. Overall we will revisit this location.

Excellent place to stay. So many great amenities including the pool, free bike rental and free tasting at their distillery. I loved that they had game rooms but it was right outside my room (230), so I could hear a lot of commotion at times. They have quiet hours antartong ant 9pm and I wasn’t woken up at night from it so it really didn’t bother me. Just an observation if someone wanted a super quiet stay, avoid room 230.

The neighboring people to our room had two dogs that barked the entire time. The people above us were running. Back and forth all night long. The food was overpriced and our meal was not as advertised. The drinks were overpriced too The pool was amazing!!!!!

Great stay on the peninsula!
What a great spot! We haven't been there in years, and the renovation is fantastic. Loved the industrial look, the pool and saunas were great (especially appreciated the late night and early morning adults only swim time), the distillery was awesome, and you can't beat the location and views. We did not eat at the restaurant, but heard good things about it. Also liked the games in the common areas on each floor and all of the items for sale in the cozy lobby. Only cons - not great soundproofing from the hall (guessing that is what the ear plus were for), no coffee or tea available in room - had to go to lobby for that

I love this property. The rooms smell like fresh linens and the provided ear plugs are great. The rooms heater was up all the way so when we got to our room it was toasty warm. Room service is great and I always forget that the portions are huge. I love staying here. The east building has a beautiful view of the ocean. We also enjoy the heated salt water pool. Already can't wait to come back.

The staff was kind throughout the entire stay but it was very inconvenient moving rooms twice. First room had dirty towels and a bathtub leak. Second room had a broken tv. I was grateful they were able to move me but was very inconvenient, I was so tired from traveling and just wanted to relax. The third room I was placed in had a wall heater that didn’t work, it was very cold at night. When I finally settled down for bed i could hear conversations in next rooms and people playing games at the end of the hall. It was nice they leave you ear plugs. Overall I would not stay here again.

Some odd things about room like missing hand towel and burnt out outlets and the restaurant was not running on full ataff or something.... they where out of alot of there dishes and not able to make there specialty pickled fish so that was disappointing but still was a fun experience with the distillery and the sauna. Nice location and good beverage selection at fromt desk.
