Have stayed there many times when visiting relatives. Usually very good. This time tv remote & connector chord had been stolen. Offered a new room but we had unpacked & my wife was in the shower so we said it was OK. This room also had no spare pillows or an extra blanket. Floor hadn’t been vacuumed & looked like it hadn’t been done for several guests. Only 2 sugars in coffee tray. Really wondering if service standard has slipped????
Very welcoming staff all round, we both felt safe while in the hotel and the club area.

Very good convenient property in a good area, clean and accessible and pleasant nice staff. Only issue is the in room aircon, it’s dated, smelled funny and noisy, could use a proper service or replacement.
Very comfortable bed and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Didn’t realise when I booked that there was not even a toaster in the room and no cooking (including toasting bread) was allowed in the room.
On site restaurant was reasonable value and very convenient.
All was good. The staff friendly and helpful. Adjoining hotel was Diggers Club at which dinner and breakfast was available.
The only negative was the double bed instead of queen
Guests arriving in an EV (and there are 200,000 EVs in Australia) can be allowed to use one of the three power points in the lower carpark to trickle charge overnight. There is also a Tesla destination charger which should be tweaked to allow use by non-Tesla EVs. The TV set-up, including the "Cast" option, was excellent. I would have preferred a slightly larger bar fridge. The partnership with the Diggers Club worked well for meals.
