It was a refurbished old main street hotel. I stayed there only because the reviews were outstanding (?) and I am open to a new experience. However I had to carry my suitcase up a flight of stairs (no elevator), there was no breakfast (the ad let me to believe breakfast was provided across the street), the hotel (lobby especially) was dirty. The room was tiny. It was overpriced by far. Sorry! My honest opinion.
Room was well maintained. Had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. Atmosphere was welcoming. Everything was nice except they need to mop the floor more often as the bottom of my feet turned black after walking in the room after waking up (they were freshly washed just before bedtime). Nearby Cowboy Smokehouse restaurant had great food for dinner.
We had the two queen beds suite that had a separate bedroom and bathroom, a full kitchen and nice, comfortable living area with the second queen bed.
The beds were comfortable, and the overall experience was great! We plan to come back again next October for fishing in the Clearwater River.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was recently updated inside. My only complaint would be the bathroom is very small with very little counter space.
We were given a front room. Small town, directly on Main St. Asked about the noise and told that the upper level we wont hear much. We were brushed off. 18 wheelers, heavy loaded trucks with loud mufflers, etc. barrelling down the road. These front rooms should have disclosure and very reduced rates. I am sure the back rooms are quiet. I feel bad about stating this but honesty is the best policy and since we did not get that, therein this review.
Wonderful, personal service. Excellent location, walking distance from main restaurants and not far from Red Canyon and Bryce National Park. Family owned and run, with the kind of personal touch that cannot be found at chain hotels. We're already planning our next visit.
Room was clean and had everything I needed. Parking was kind of spooky. Didn’t like that most of the time nobody was at the front desk. Did like that it was close to restaurants and grocery store.
Clean and newly refurbished. Quiet room, despite facing the main road - didn't disturb us at all during the night. Central location means you can walk to Cowboys Smokehouse for dinner and cross the street to Hungry Goat cafe for breakfast. Good value and convenient.
