We enjoyed our stay! The staff was friendly and helpful.We had acroom with a view of the marina and watched gorgeous sunrises. The room are not modern but they are well cared for. Our carpet needs to be replaced soon. But it worked. I already knew of the small tv sets. But we barely watched tv anyway. It is on PCH at the edge of Long Beach and Seal Beach and is a short distance to the 495 and 605 freeways. We liked our stay enough to return soon. Our reservations are booked.

Days of glory for this facility have long passed. It meeds to be upgraded urgently, sections at a time so there is still some income. Modernization is a long term project. However, even an outdated hotel is still appealing if it’s kept immaculate and well maintained.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of free parking. Very close to the beach and freeway.

Not many parking spots for the amount of rooms they have. The worst thing- it seems they dont wash/change bedsheets?? I had 2 rooms. One obviously had dirty and smelly bedsheets. Front desk didnt change our room our help out at all. There was one receptionist (she was a black lady) that was super nice and helpful. Honestly the others kinda didnt care and werent very helpful. Seems most of their facilities are closed. So really this is just a bigger motel that youd sleep in and nothing else.

I like the size of the room and how clean it was. The lady at the counter at check in wasn't very friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day. But hardly spoke to us and had no expression, I wish you served breakfast, We had a great stay and would stay there again.

Instead of having Fuji water in the rooms, have water from Costco make it free instead of charging five dollars. If you were to drink one of your Fuji waters. Tubs could be a little bigger.

I stay at Sails every time I come to LB and it never disappoints! Staff is always very friendly. Dated, but clean comfy good size rooms, with all you need! Nice pool and courtyard. So close to nearby bar/restaurant( next door ) and great diner ( across street) - easy walk. There are also a variety of choices close by while driving. Can’t go wrong staying here!

Perfectly fine rooms especially for the location and the price. Rooms are not serviced everyday without special request and there was no hand soap in the room. Staff struggled to find additional towels and pillows but overall an acceptable stay.

We have stayed here quite a few times. Nice staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Microwave, coffee maker and fridge.Free parking .Great for staying in long Beach when we visit friends and see music in the area.

We like the layout of the room very much. But I walked around in my bare feet and my feet were so black. The carpet had to be filthy. we were on the second floor and there is no elevator. We are elderly and I walk with a cane. Had take the luggage up the steps. I would not recommend this property
