This was one of the most beautiful properties i have stayed at. There is so much to do especially for families. Loved the equestrian center and the arts and crafts. Pools were great. Arcade was cool. Food and drinks wonderful. General store had everything you need. Will definitely be back!
I would recommend this property to visit however, the time-sharing and marketing thereof is not my interest. I would bring family to stay again to appreciate the property and experience for those who may enjoy a gathering or even alone retreat time. Thank you, Diane

Housekeeping entered our room without knocking and announcing themselves while there was a do not disturb sign out and we had permission for late check out. Hotel admitted fault.
Many good things to say, but our room was dark and very small. No room for desk or chair, so no where to sit except on very high bed. I'll come back, but when I do I'll bring a powerful rechargeable lamp for the room, and two fold up chairs.
I’ve been staying here off and on for the last 4 weeks and it’s by far the best place to stay in the area. It’s easily accessible, close to Louisa, Gordonsville, and Zion’s Crossroads, and it has a restaurant on site that is very good. I will continue to use this as my temporary “home away from home” hotel as I am in the area on business.
Very nice family resort, beautiful grounds. We liked the fact that there is a restaurant on site, although beer and wine only. Grandkids loved riding the ponies

One of our rooms had hair all over it! Both rooms were very dark and needed more lamps. There was not any chair or desk to sit at only the beds. Coffee station was not conveniently located. Groups getting coffee blocked access to hallway leading to rooms.
We had a wonderful time in Cottage 39. We were in town for a wedding and wanted a little bit of space for our family of 4. This was the perfect spot. We didn't get to spend a lot of time on property because of wedding activities, but we did take advantage of the free mini golf as well as the outdoor and indoor pools at the lodge.
The kitchen was great for making breakfasts to start our busy days. We would definitely stay here again.
Staff eager to please, courteous. Limited dining: no breakfast, had to drive into town to eat. Most local shops, restaurants closed sunday and monday. Stayed in the lodge: room small and uncomfortable. Nice mattress and shower. Resort? - not really.
The natural setting was good. That is were it stops. Room in lodge was dmsll, limited tv channels, two beds but only one chair, ( they refused to give us another chair, nowhere to eat out. Resort restaurant was closed, had to drive 20 minutes to get breakfast.
We did fine a great employee who was helpful and solved a couple of our problems. His name is Warren!!

The cabins are lovely. But there are not numerous trails on the property as advertised. It is very remote. There is nothing anywhere near it, so in the winter there is little to do. I also didn’t like a 10:00 a.m checkout, when they ask you to assist in the housekeeping.
