The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, bed was too soft for my liking. The reason for low rating is the shower drain and toilet drain very slow. Takes two flushes to flush the toilet and while taking a shower I was standing in water past my ankles.

Friendly Folks!
If you are looking for the Ritz Carolton this is not the hotel for you, however for a one night stay this venue was good. The breakfast was satisfying and the employees were beyond friendly. My only complaint is that I awoke at 6:00 am to go work out in the gym and it was locked even though posted hours were 5:30 am - 10:00 pm. The front desk associate said that the gym was locked because they had several youth groups staying at the hotel and they wanted to secure the equipment. I understand this reasoning, but no one had a key to open the gym for me. The associate stated that it was run by an off-site entity and could not be opened until 8:00 am when that individual was scheduled to come to work. If the hotel advertises amenities they should be made available at posted hours. This was one reason we chose this establishment.

I visit Lubbock for 4 years while my kid was in college. Only once I tried a different hotel. nevertheless I went back to MCM, Can’t beat the breakfast and atmosphere, worth every penny.

A perfect vacation spot
It was the most relaxing and peaceful vacation experience we’ve ever had! Hotel was clean, food was excellent and we had everything we needed right at our fingertips! The heated indoor pool sealed the deal as the only place we will stay when we are in Lubbock!

The rooms are pretty nice and clean! Hotel area is nice and kept up. Only thing is they require a pool monitor to be at the pool to swim. Wich is very inconvenient when you rent a room to swim but can’t because thiers no pool monitors.
