I can not be more disappointed and dissatisfied with this property; they really ruined my vacations. They mixed up my reservation with an other guest with the same last name and they checked me in an inferior room category that was unpaid when mine was paid and I had a superior room. It won’t be a problem if they would have corrected their mistake immediately but they made me sleep in that inferior room 2 days of my 4 days stay, they didn’t gave me anything they promised me, interesting enough it was never a manager around te talk to, they completely ignored me and my husband, they never solved anything. The room didn’t have towels, iron, iron board and other amenities that we have to constantly keep asking for and they never bring to us or if they did they took several hours or a day or 2. (The iron never arrived and we were there for a formal event so we could never iron our clothes… imagine…) the food is very deficient and the drinks absolutely horrible.. worst I have never ever try in any other resort. It was SOOOOO many things that were wrong with this hotel that I will never finish. We basically paid for a room and an experience that we never received and they ruined our vacation. We wasted so many hours and days fighting with them to get nowhere.. truly horrible!!! Not only for my husband and I but for the 30-40 ppl in our family that were there for the event we were all attending.

I didn’t like your excursion service. I bought the horseback riding package and was forced to ride in a STORM, because they refused to give a refund. Horrible and never again.

The adult side did not have a tub in the room at the Hideaway Royalton in Jamaica and Expedia made it seem as if they had the tub / jacuzzi in the room. The view wasn't an ocean view. The rooms was very small and the glass in the shower was not as clean. The sensors for the air conditioner was not working properly. The doors would be closed and the air conditioner would not come on... However some of the staff provided outstanding services: Manager Jefrey Ruthanne, Clevon, Dantay the photographer .

This is not a 5* Resort, but it could be!
The Good - Room key as a wrist band is genius! - Fitness staff (Lanarcha, Kadija, Whitney, Travis); the variety of fitness classes available, and the gym. - Shelly Ann in the Grazie restaurant, and Samantha on reception. - Spa treatment. - Well-kept beach; the hotel is also clean and well-kept. Do Better -The check-in experience was the worst we've ever had. -Appalled by the use of disposable plastic cups; not just at the beach/poolside, but also in the restaurants at dinner. -Without exception, the hotel ran out of basic food and drink items every day which is unacceptable for a supposed 5* resort. -Catering for specified dietary requirements is poor (but shout-out to Shelly Ann; she went above and beyond at breakfast after I expressed concerns). By chance we spoke at length with Mario, F&B Manager, who promised to look into things but disappointed to have no follow-up from him at all. -Staff need better training to deal with dietary needs; there was a lack of understanding, and many were far too blasé especially in Gourmet Marche (the buffet restaurant) -We were told that cushions for the beach chairs were 'first come, first served'...seriously, in a supposed 5* hotel! Our 'do better' issues were not unique...others had similar experience (and some cases, worse). We raised all these while we were there, but it all fell on deaf ears (apart from Shelly-Ann). We made the most of our stay, but would not return to Hideaway, or go to another Royalton resort.

The worst experience Ive ever had at a Royalton. From roaches to ocean view rooms with views of trees. Most things were not working and most foods were unavailable. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The representative kept swiping my card at the front desk at check in my card lock after telling her not to do it so many times. Their was lost of electricity Sunday October 20th.October 22 electricity was lost again The elevator wasn’t working. I can’t walk up and down the stairs. Everything was very inconvenient for me. I wasn’t even comfortable without thinking something was going to happen to me.

Horrible Resort
The hotel room service was horrible. The workers all had bad attitudes. The a/c stopped working. The transportation that was supposed to be included was not included. Everything was a mess in regards to the resort. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone. You better off staying on the beach in a lawn chair, you’ll get a better breeze.
