Great hotel very clean and comfortable
Great hotel, staff very helpful at reception. Our king size room was very spacious with everything we needed to make a comfortable overnight stay. We would definitely return if we return to Rotorua and need a hotel.

Shower would literally change temperature hitting you with scalding water. No other water running in room, and no toilet flushing. I mentioned it, girl at front desk didn’t even apologize… Our door wouldn’t open with key…took an hour to get it fixed before we could get dressed and leave for activities we had planned. We asked if it would be possible to get a coffee as compensation. The answer was quick and definite: NO! Terrible. If you want to be treated like trash, go ahead and book here.

We had 3 upgraded rooms and all very clean, tidy and modern. The pool was a hit for the kids so warm and the retractable roof for sunny days a winner. Breakfast buffet was replenished often.

The hotel hugely lacks maintenance. Our ac in the room wasnt working, had to bring to the attention of the staff 3 times, supposedly maintenance came out to fix it, but nothing changed. At the end we got given a fan and got told if the ac wasnt fixed, we would be given a different room, which never happened. Toilet paper holder and towel holder in our bathroom kept falling off the wall. The pool was great, however there were never clean towels available. The restaurant food was terrible, bland and overcooked. The gym has no ac or ventilation and is suffocating to be in. The fan on the wall sounds like its about to explode. The positive is that the staff are very nice and welcoming. We used to stay here a lot years ago and always had the best experience, sad to say this stay on the other hand has been very disappointing.

Each room had a throw blanket on one of the two beds. My husband and I cannot sleep under down comforters, which each of the beds in our room also had on it. The throw blanket was big enough to cover one bed, so I asked the front desk for a 2nd one to use on the 2nd bed in place of the down comforter. In spite of the fact that they had plenty of these throw blankets, they refused to give me one to use for the night. Every hotel I stay in presents a similar problem for us. Many hotels have blankets available in addition to the down comforters on their beds and are happy to let us use them in place of their down comforters. Others simply don't have any blankets, so are not able to give us one to use However, I have never before stayed at a hotel that HAS blankets but refuses to give us one to use for the night. As a result, I will never stay at a Millenium Hotel again and would also not recommend it to anyone else. This hotel simply doesn't care about customer service or meeting their guests needs! Why would anyone stay here when most hotels try hard to meet their guests needs?

Room recently renovated and very nice. We had a lovely garden view room and the garden was beautiful. Good pool which could be covered if it rained. Resturant food Good and all staff very friendly. This hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to parks, shops and thermal spa. Would highly recommend
