If you are accustomed to even the basic comforts of American hotels, you will be disappointed here. There is no air conditioning which I thought would be no big deal since outside temperatures were in the 60’s. Boy, was I wrong! It felt higher than 100 degrees at night, probably because the rooms are designed to retain the heat inside. When we tried opening windows, the loud noise of traffic and commotion outside prevented us from sleeping, all the while the whole place was basically an oven. This is a self service hotel, so expect to do all service yourself. The front desk has no humans (so if you’re confused due to your lack of knowing the local language there’s not much help) but they get some services from a hotel next door , and they were friendly. I asked for extra fans, but I never received in any of our rooms. I did not sleep well for 2 nights and also fell very sick, which made the rest of my trip not as enjoyable as it could have been. This hotel was a disappointment.
