Arrived at 1.15pm, said sorry were a bit early, any chance of a check in? I got an abrupt "No. 2pm is check in".... I understand there are rules, but a sorry we're still getting the room ready or something similar would have been nice. Extraction fan in the bathroom wasn't working either. Maintenance informed us there were 5 through the hotel waiting to get replaced

Everything was just tired. The decor, the carpets, the paintwork. The room was comfortable but dated. Bathroom was cramped and shabby. Having said that we’d stay again, the rate was okay, the breakfast limited but ok to start the day. Staff we met were fine, just not many of them. The restaurant is closed for meals, wish we knew beforehand.

This hotel is old and very out of date. The carpet worn; the furnishings are dated. The staff were welcoming, and the place was clean, but it was a bit of shock to see the condition of the hotel. It was adequate but I would not stay there again.
