Getting around - I would consider quite convenient. As we are not familiar initially, we chose to walk to the hotel from the outer ferry terminal, is not as far, within 15 mins. As opposite our hotel is Sands, apparently it has free shuttle service to The Parisian, The Londener and best part, to HZMB. They did not specify that the service is only for its guest, so we just took it, so quite convenient.
Room - is very spacious with a total of 3 toilets, suitable for family like us that has 5 pax
Staff - not as friendly as seen from the reviews. They were neither helpful nor friendly. From something as simple as changing smaller change (& I'm not talking about big amt, just HKD100 as we wanted to take bus, at the counter, we were asked to go to the concierge, went to the concierge, we were asked to go to the store (namely - Tommy & another guy from the concierge, a lady at check in counter on 25 & 26/12 morning). I mean, come on, a hotel, with no ability to make small change of HKD 100?! Since the concierge didn't change for us as directed by her to go there, I went back her & ask for the change again. Impatiently, I overheard her speaking in Cantonese telling her colleague to change for us. In fact, almost all staff we encountered have no smile at all when approached... Only 1 lady (did not get her name, wore specs), has the patience to guide us.
It may be a culture, but as far as I feel, if you are in hospitality line, you should have basic courtesy.
