Every single staff member we encountered was super friendly & helpful! We had drinks & dinner in the bar, it was delightful! We were even granted an early check in. Hotel room itself is SUPER COOL! Great decor. Bathroom rocked too! Love that they had a bathtub.

Front desk staff were personable and helpful. Convenient store across the street for water and snacks. Room was very nice. Comfortable. Clean. Lots of shopping close by and an easy walk to the HOHO bus. Would stay there again.

Located in the heart of the city, a nice place with access to about everything you need. Pretty noisy in the surrounding areas but sort of to be expected given location. The A/C did not work well so room was pretty stuffy but you could open the window...but then pretty loud.

All was great apart from the booking procedure. Ibtried to pay when i booked, then i had several emails from the hotel then asking me to pay directly, then the bed choice couldnt be guaranteed, thos is why i have scored them lower, the stay was fine but the booking part was not.

Hotel was clean and quiet, staff was helpful and the breakfast and bar/restaurant were nice conveniences. Hotel was walkable to dining and shopping and always felt safe. Would stay here again.

7 Islas hotel is a great place to stay for a visit to Madrid It is close to transportation and in walking distance of many major attractions, yet it is on a quiet street. It has a very cool vibe and an efficient and attentive staff who were always eager to help out. And the breakfast is excellent.

My second time staying at 7Islas - Pros - great location - convenient for shops and metro. Lots of dining options nearby. Onsite bar and room service are well priced. New gym is a bonus. Lobby is very stylish with changing art work. Rooms are good sizes - again stylish. Dressing gowns are a nice touch. Front desk staff friendly and happy to store luggage. Cons - no coffee in the room. Kettle and teabags but no coffee. I enquired at the front desk and was told coffee was an extra. I'd expect even basic hotels to have coffee in the room and for what this room rate was, I'd expect more. Guy in charge of room service was rude -rude when I called up to place my order (my colleagues were actually downstairs and overheard the conversation and commented on it too) and rude when he brought the food to my room. Hopefully a one-off as the other staff were more than pleasant. Overall, would stay again based on location.
