Clean and semi quiet. Rooms are small. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very busy. I would stay there again if I were by myself and in transit.

Tiny room, no in room facilities, very sterile and depressing (although it was clean). Lobby was tiny giving off a very bland atmosphere, and the "breakfast room" was a few cheap snacks in bags, a dirty coffee machine and a pile of "construction" in the corner. Staff we polite. But the worse of it - price was over €100/night.... max €50/night for this place. Wont go back - do not recommend.
Since we arrived the front desk lady was lazy and unhelpful. All the hotel smelled like cigarettes and the room assigned was as well. We asked for a different room, the air conditioner didn’t work and the blankets and pillows smelled like cigarettes which makes it harder to sleep well. At around 3:00am someone inside the building starts screaming. We could hear everything from other rooms and the sound from outside the building. Me didn’t sleep at all. Next day we ask to get a refund and they only gave us back one night. We end up leaving before the last night and will never go back here and would not recommend this hotel at all. We expect them to give us a full refund since 130/night is extremely expensive for this type of hotel.
Clean room, but used by smokers previously, which appears to be quite normal in this hotel having read other reviews. Not pleasent, and as this a budget place, the only staff present was the receptionist, so not able to assist.
Bedding was lack luster... :(
Clean. Good functioning bathroom. Room very basic. Television fine and visible from the bed. No in room amenities. Very basic breakfast (muffins, biscuits in plastic packages with a coffee maker). Good reception staff, helpful. Locked entrance door, making the hotel very secure. Down a side street but very near line 1 metro, and a short 10 min walk to Plaza de Castilla for lines 10 and 1. 30 min access to Feria de Madrid, only 1 metro change. Good cafes and bakery nearby if lunch needed. 20 minute walk to Santiago Bernabeu
I was allotted a room with broken air conditioner. I waited for 2 hours to cool down my room, which never happened! When I asked for help, he said the air conditioner doesn't work well. Then he changed my room where the bed, bedsheets, and the whole room smelled of smoke. There was a cigarette butt inside the toilet. I never smoked in my life! I have requested Expedia for a non-smoking room. It was a terrible. I asked them to change to non-smoking room at the front desk but it never happened. Now I am wary of using Expedia which I have used for most of my life. There was next to no breakfast provided either (few packets of cookies and coffee, that's it!).
I had to book this hotel as left it too late to book somewhere for a business trip and it was the week of a major exhibition, so it was out of necessity rather than choice. It was not a pleasant stay. There are no restaurants in the area (ended up buying food from a nearby Lidl), no amenities whatsoever in the room (needed a bottle opener but there wasn’t one) no tea/coffee/kettle etc. It was clean and yet from the minute I walked in I felt the opposite. I was kept awake all night by the sounds from the neighbouring rooms. And they were very specific sounds (you’ll have to use your imagination) but the walls were so thin I was getting a level of audible detail I would rather not have had. In the morning, no hot water. So I went downstairs (can’t call reception from the room or if you can they don’t tell you how/what number to press) and the guy cape back to my room, ran the tap and agreed there was no hot water. And that was that. Seriously. I never saw him again and when I left 45 mins later after a freezing shower, it was a different man on “reception”. If you’re in a serious budget and this comes up cheap (prices were inflated the week I was in Madrid because of the event) and need a bed for the night and don’t care then fine. Otherwise avoid like the plague.
It’s in a great location even though the front part looks kind of old, the inside of the hotel is nice, rooms are small and you can hear what’s going out in the other rooms, if they talk, if they open the shower etc that’s the only part I dislike, service was great very helpful and attentive!
