As a Hilton Honors member, I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this property. When I entered my room, it smelled like someone had been smoking inside. At check-in, I expected complimentary water, but none was provided. When we asked about complimentary coffee, the front desk staff (a young lady) simply told us to go to the restaurant, which felt dismissive.
On top of that, when we tried to use the TV, the remote didn’t work properly, and we couldn’t change the channel. We informed the front desk, and after some time, a staff member came to our room. He spent a long time trying to fix it and eventually said he needed to replace the remote. Later, he returned and tried again, but the issue remained. Finally, he said it was a sensor problem and implied that we had changed or damaged it, which was not the case—the sensor was already displaced before we arrived. The way it was said felt unprofessional, almost like we were being blamed for something we hadn’t done.
Overall, the service and experience were far below the standards I expect from Hilton, especially as a loyal member.
