Very good

The pub is quirky and very old, rooms are a bit tired but comfy bed and fantastic view
Staff really friendly, breakfast great, dinner good, food is very plentiful and good! Would definitely stay here again
Had to walk through kitchen area to get to rooms.
Wasnt given our own bathroom.
Heard mice in ceiling.
Towels provided were soft.
Coffee and water in room was nice
Admittedly we where a bit suspicious when we couldn’t contact the staff the day before or even early on the dag of arrival but then on things went very smoothly indeed. The room was perfekt and we didn’t object to the air condition a bit in the sweltering heat. The view feromon our window over the old Thames barges were soothing if you’ll excuse the expression. Before check in and moving in we had a nice cold seafood platter. We were not hungry for the rest of the rest of the day.
The next day we could enjoy the breakfast which was included. It was somewhat late at 9, but on the other hand it was really a FULL English breakfast so it saved us a lunch.
The house is old which menas there are no lifts but water that get a little boost at timmes, but that’S part of the package,I supponerad
I can really recommend this place and I would gladly come back again
Room not very clean and needs a total revamp and clean up. Bathroom needs a repair and re-paint. Toilet seat broken. No towel rack. Had to get to the room through the kitchen, stairs very steep and no accessable rooms. Needs a different route to get to the rooms. View is beautiful. Staff very helpful and friendly and courteous. No breakfast served as the Chef was ill. But got a refund for breakfast somewhere else. Nice pub downstairs. Would we stay there again?? No!! It was overpriced for what we received!! !!
The evening meal and service there in the bar was great. No issues.
During the night we were disturbed by a fellow visitor who had got locked out and despite a suppossed key code being displayed in our tooms we could not find a key pad anywhere on the outside of the building. Also we were disturbed to realize that there eere no staff in the pub overnight. What would we have done in the event of a fire??? Breakfast we skipped when we found out that the cook was not even arriving till 9.00 and we were not even offered a coffee while we waited. Very poor.
