Attractive property. Well located. Staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. Property is old and has narrow staircase to rooms. Bedroom floors creak loudly, so noise from above is disturbing.
Comfortable bed and breakfast within walking distance from Monet’s Garden. The restaurant Baudy, a 5 minute walk is very good. The hotel has its own Michelin one star restaurant, but it is closed Mondays. Make a reservation ahead of your visit if you want to eat there.
Everything was good except for breakfast. Arrived late and woke up at 8.30am for breakfast. For 19Euro per person for breakfast, there was 1 piece of cold meat left on the buffet table. There was 2 croissants left and no refill for either items.
Beautiful room, lovely gardens, friendly and helpful staff and a great location as just very short walk to restaurants and Monet Gardens

Excellent hotel for Monet's house and garden
Beautiful hotel and superb location. Book your ticket for Monet's house and garden and walk there straight after breakfast (just after 9am), avoid the crowds and enjoy a few moments of delightful solitude around the water lilies. Wonderful restaurant for dinner too..
Perfect location where you can easily walk to nearby restaurants, shops and landmarks in Giverny. The room was quaint with a bit of whimsy. I appreciated the standing fan. With the heat, it was just perfect and not offered at most places I’ve stayed without air conditioning.
This charming little hotel is a pretty 10 minute walk to Monet's Gardens and the Impressionist Museum & cafe. There are galleries, shops and cafes along the one cobblestone street. We had a 2 room suite on the top floor with a soaking tub, coffee and tea set up, windows that opened to the gardens from our bedroom and the village from the sitting room and a very comfortable queen bed with plenty of good pillows. The staff mostly spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing, beautiful and delicious dinner in the restaurant which requires reservations since it's quite small and something out of a 1940's or 50's movie. Our dinner was 100 euros for 2 with 2 drinks and one dessert. It was so worth it! We had a very nice stay and highly recommend spending a nite here. The village is quaint and looks like it must have in Monet's day.
Don't stay on a Monday or Tuesday when the restaurant is closed or you will find no staff in the premises after 6.30, may get the car locked in the car park after that time, return to unmade beds and dirty towels, crockery the following day; all this and a cess pit--emptier outside your chalet with evil smells to greet you. It happened to us. What a rip-off for an expensive hotel.
We are very satisfied with the room, the atmosphere, and their service, except for the wi-fi. The connection was ok, but we had to log in every time we want to connect. And only one connection was allowed at a time.
It's decor is lovely. Everything thought out and graceful. The lady at the front is a delight full of good energie. Worth every sou!! And a quick walk from Monet's Garden. Skip the menu de degustation. It's right off the menu. Wines are lovely too
Stayed in order to visit Monet's garden. Arrived by car. Conveniently located reception and parking. Nice welcome and check in. Grounds are lovely. Dog friendly. Rooms very comfortable. Great shower. Walking distance to monet's garden. Good stay.
The food was exceptional!!! - one of the best meals I've ever had. We were there on a Sunday night so we had to order a la carte. I was afraid our bill would be outrageous (we also bought a good and rather expensive bottle of wine). Much to my surprise and delight, it was reasonable - given what we ordered and the quality of our food.
We stayed in the annex - a newer building on the property. It was comfortable, clean, and very pleasant. The hotel grounds are beautiful!
The staff was friendly, spoke English, and was very helpful. Our room was very nice. It was a bit small by US standards, but larger than some of the other rooms we got in France. There was no A/C in the room, but even in July it was cool enough in the evening to not be a problem. Lack of A/C might have been a comfort issue if we had spent time in the room during the middle of the day. The location was great, just a short few blocks to the Gardens.
