Coconut Cay is a reminder of the motels from the 1960's in a good way. Park outside your room and walk into an updated room that is clean and cool. Property is conveniently located to nearby restaurants and activities. It was nostalgic - bringing back good memories from my childhood travels with my family.

Average motel, free onsite parking, good internet, good rooms, but no breakfast. Room, we had was affected by frequent Air Conditioning Compressor blower noise all night, and beeping noise from some sort of electronic gadget, which affected our sleep.

Coconut Cay very disappointing!
Charged premium price for cheap motel room. King mattress on Queen frame and headboard that was nailed to the wall. No carpenter skills what so ever.. Dresser drawer repeatedly opened without assistance (not leveled furniture). Hot water did not work and when it finally did heat (after 10+ mins) it was scolding no way to control temperature. Called the front desk BEFORE closing and no one answered - had to leave a message and NEVER received a call back. Next day another clerk told me, “oh you should’ve come to the office” like really?? I just stood freezing my a$& off waiting for hot water and you want me to walk to the front desk when no one answered??! We were so tired after our 5 hour drive, we just wanted to sleep as best we could and checked out first thing (6am) the very next morning. Not a good place to stay. Not represented correctly!!

Great Place to Relax and Play
Clean, comfortable room with great view of bay. Paddle boards and kayaks available for play on the water. Office staff is so helpful and keeps coffee, tea, and cocoa ready at all times. Easy location to find and a great place to relax and play.

I was quite disappointed in this property. There was no hot water. The air conditioner was very loud. The road noise was also very loud as the door faced the road, Rt. 1. The door and step into the property was old and didn't feel secure. One small window in the room besides the bathroom window. No bathroom fan. The room was not as depicted in the descriptions and pictures on Expedia. They were very misleading. It was clean though, which was appreciated, but I would not recommend the property.

This was a motel. Very bare bones of amenities; it sounded better online. The bikes hardly worked and you had to fight for a spot at the grills. People were blasting obnoxious music and no staff around to ask a question. For the ridiculous price tag this should have been a lot better

The property was very nice and clean. The room I stayed in was not accessible for handicapped folks but it was nice and well cared for. I would have liked to know there were stairs to get to the door, but it wasn't too much of a hardship.

Older but very comfortable hotel and dog friendly
I have been coming to this hotel yearly for over 4 years for business and personal purposes. The staff very well organized and very friendly. Great and clean area to walk my dog and the sleeping beds are very comfortable
