This property was not my first choice as I had a last minute travel schedule. It was one of the only ones available at a reasonable price. I highly regret stain at this Hotel. To begin with the location was off a main road but it is a little bit difficult to access the front staff woman was surely and looked very unclean and seemed like a hard-core drug user. The ice machine on my floor did not work. I stayed on the second floor and it reeked heavily of marijuana both nights that I stayed there. Apparently the hotel is pet friendly and there was a couple of dogs that were barking inside the hotel, which was an annoyance. The room itself was OK, basic nothing special. They had several junk cars in the parking lot and some unsavory looking people that were barbecuing outside. A really bad vibe and a bad luck for a hotel that’s part of a national chain. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend. I would’ve much rather slept in the bed of my truck or Camped on the side of the road. I’m confident that it single woman would feel unsafe staying at this hotel. The property seem like it was reasonably new, but it was in poor condition with little maintenance and obviously subpar management.

The smell of the room was a bit musty. The laminate flooring was duct taped in places where it had come loose. There was absolutely no housekeeping service unless I happened to see a housekeeper in the hall. She didn't understand English but at least understood we needed clean towels & trash dumped. We were there 7 nights & only managed to get new towels twice. My husband ended up dumping our trash in the big trash can next to the vending machine. And we ran out of toilet paper on our last morning. Luckily it was the last morning. I did like that the hotel (& it is more a hotel than motel since it is 4 stories) is set back much further off the highway than other hotels on the same road. It made road noise not as noticeable.

Don’t expect much
The room had one towel in it for 2 adults, the hallways had an odd smell to them as did the room. The stairwell smelled like it had been doused in Febreeze but the rugs were all dirty still. At about 6 am the neighbors decided they needed to listen to music and laugh and have a good time before they left for the day.

The employees were nice. However, they do not give a doorknob hanger that symbolizes whether you need housekeeping in the morning or not, so if you are not an early riser, expect to wake up with staff banging on the door everyday at 10:30am or earlier. There are people who hang outside who seem to be living from their car. Maybe they live at the motel. The bed felt nice, but I'm the type where it's got to be really bad for me to complain about that. Tv worked. Plumbing worked. I don't really have complaints.

Noisy AC?
The room was very nice for the price, but periodically through my stay I heard a loud noise that sounded like a wrench falling on a wooden floor. I suspect it came from the air conditioner, but I couldn't confirm in part because the sound occurred only maybe 1x/hour. It woke me up a few times, but I was able to fall right back to sleep.
