The front staff when we checked in and checked out were super friendly. The lady working breakfast was an absolute delight. She was so sweet and made sure we had everything. The bed was comfortable. The place is a little dated but definitely nothing horrible.

Perfect location for truck driver to park for night to get a room. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a generic, but that's usually the case anyways.

The hotel room was fine everything was clean and taken care of when we are at a right. The staff was rude in the beginning when we first checked in they were wonderful, but at Breakfast I was told I couldn’t have any more because I had to much and was cut off by the “cook” Then the front desk staff said it’s not an all you can eat buffet and that I was no longer welcome to eat. Mind you I am a 105 pound marathon runner which I completed the prior day. So I went back to the breakfast and got about three plates, which consisted of pancakes and hash. I Let others go before me, and took what I wanted because again it was a buffet. When I have two women tell me that I can’t eat anymore because I ate too much and that if I wanted to eat more, I should go to a restaurant because my appetite was inappropriate oh you bet I was upset. So I contacted the manager and I’m still waiting to hear back from her. So if you take more than two plates at the continental breakfast, you’re gonna get talk to you.

Good place for dogs, close to NMU and downtown. The hotel is getting a little "tired", the parking lot is in rough shape, and the amenities are below average. The "fitness room" is one treadmill, one elliptical and some dumbbells. People are nice, the woman staffing breakfast is really sweet and accommodating. Expensive for what it is.

The room was extremely clean, and the staff was polite. Unfortunately, the facility itself is an older building and the floor joists are extremely noisy. Also dogs are allowed to stay here and early morning barking woke me up both days I stayed over. In addition, the beds were too hard for my back. Overall it was fine and the overall clean room made up for a lot of the other issues, but I doubt I'd stay here again if I could avoid it.
